After the update it is completely unplayable for me. In single player campaign mission and instant action there is constant stuttering and lag between input and reaction when in F-86. Tried the Mirage and F-5 on the Persian Gulf and Nevada maps and the screen is just blinding white as if staring into sun, as roll plane sometimes a little of panel at bottom of screen is visible, external view is completely white except for the info bar. Using the autoexec.cfg file (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=251377) made no difference. Using a head tracker, never had performance issues before on the highest settings. Intel i5 8600K, nvidia 1080, 16 Gb RAM, Windows 10.

IDS, it would not be the ideal choice for ADV role.

I would recommend the F-5 as a beginner plane. It is easy to fly and very stable. Controls and systems are very straight forward, I actually found it much better for learning ground attack procedures than the the C-101.

Explosions and aircraft damage animation improvements would be nice. Seriously, the current animations would look bad 10 years ago.

A Vulcan would be fantastic.

Thanks for the suggestion, installed the legacy driver (Crimson something or other) that covers my card but still have the same problem. I meet all the minimum specs as far as I can see and never had a problem with DCS World pre 1.5 or pre windows 10 so cannot even be sure which is the culprit. Any update on this? I have the same problem. Ran older DCS world versions no problem but have not played for a while. Installed 1.5.3 and now it always crashes on startup. I do get a windows message about the 'display driver stopped responding and has recovered successfully'. Have 8Gb RAM and a 2Gb graphics card, Intel integrated and AMD Radeon, it's one of those switchable ones that seem to cause nothing but trouble for games. I have also updated from Win7 to 10 (64bit) in the meantime.

Hello, I have been using the photo attached below as my desktop picture for a while now and have often wondered, and tried to figure out, if it is a MiG-15 or 17. Also can anyone confirm if it is actually a genuine photograph or if it is a product of photoshop. I am not sure where I got it from, possibly this site or else it must of popped up on Facebook.

Saw the post title and thought 'Will I need to double my RAM to 16Gb?'. Then I saw the 'from 16Gb..' I certainly hope not as it will be a few years before I get to buy a proper gaming desktop as opposed to using my laptop (i7, 8Gb Ram so it does the job so far).

Hello, I have not played DCS in quite a while so logged in for the first time this year, as far as I remember, to check out what modules are out, 1.5, etc. only to find that at least two modules are missing on my orders page. One order with the Huey, Black Shark and Mi-8 is there but no sign of the one with A-10C and combined arms. I also had a module on steam from a humble bundle but just checked and that has also disappeared. Any experience with this or am I just missing something? Fiachra. EDIT: Thankfully was able to find a text file with the keys on my hard drive.
