Does using the TMW feel stupid using it with other jets?
Nope! It feels very comfortable with them all, including the WWII prop planes. You just have to set the controls accordingly. I'm not even using th TARGET software, just direct mode. This way I can switch planes inside a server without any problem.
I just moved from CH to TMW and love it every minute.

I have read that there are a lot of BSOD when using CH Products and windows 10. I heard when you use CH Manager.
Hi Chewy,
I gave up CH when I bult a new rig with Win 10 in it. CH Manager never worked and always would loose the joystick/throttle/pedal in any attempt to program it. I used it in direct mode for a while and eventually changed to a A-10 Warthog HOTAS. I am still using the pedals until my MFG Crosswinds arrive.
Anyway, I got some BSOD, but not all the time. I'd say 1 in 20 attempts to program it.
Good luck,
Sydy

I've had no issues with external tanks, but I've only ever had to use one tank.
I can try to fly with 3 tanks later when I can a chance and see if something goes wrong. By chance, does the manual say anything special about 3 tank usage? I don't have access to it right now, so I can't check.
Hi,
Use wing tanks first then the central tank...
Take care,

Hi guys, good morning,
Just to update the issue I had with my Warthog Pinky switch.
After 6 days I requested TM Support, they answered me.
What they requested from me:
- Short film with the Pinky Switch actuation and Windows control panel response
- Picture of invoice
- Picture of serial number on the base of the device.
- Full name
- Full shipping address
- Phone number
I did that and today they e-mailed me informing that a new pinky switch was ordered and is on my way. Besides that they sent me the instructions how to replace it. It is a pdf with 4 pictures how to install it.
I will make a post with detailed pictures.
All the best,
Sydy

Hi all.
I just want to say thanks to Sydy for those videos. They were a powerful tool to defeat the bogies in the campaign. Muito obrigado desde Portugal!
To Maple Flag thanks too for this fabolous campaign because i'm learning a lot. Dogfight was very dificoult to me and now i feel more confortable...
Thanks again and continue the good work.
Hi MRamnou,
You're welcome! De nada desde o Brasil!
It is my pleasure to share a bit of knowledge and fun with you. I will have to come back to finish the ACM campaign, but so many good campaigns came out that I kind left it aside a bit.
Anyway, I've been kicked in the butt by the Hornets, but I will find a way to defeat them. Once I do it, I will post it here.
All the best,
Sydy

Hi Wags,
Would that be "Allied Flight Reports" or "Radio Assists"?
Tks in advance,

Guys,
I already flew the first mission! VEry nice!
Be careful with fuel management and the nasty flaky at the briefed points!
I had no performance hit issue, but my rig is quite hot, I'd say! :)
Lovely campaign!

I would think TM would cover you under warranty with it being new.
I would press for a replacement throttle.
Dbourne,
I think that would be the case IF I was in USA. I live in Brazil and would be hell to send it to USA and then reimport, then I'd had to pay the import fees (60% including S&H) and so on...
If they send me a new switch I'd be very happy.
Tks for the tip anyway.

'Warthog + broken' is not an uncommon occurrence (despite the Internet moto "build like a tank"). :)

In the topic options for a better quality switch.
Tks Sokol, pretty sad...
Anyway, let's see what they tell me.

Hi guys,
Maybe one of you help me on this matter. I already contacted TM and I am waiting their response.
Here goes what's going on:
"Good afternoon,
I bought my Warthog Hotas on the Burbank Fry's on June, 23rd, 2017, installed it on July, 11th (I was flying around). I used the hotas for one week and travelled again (I am an OEM Pilot) and came back yesterday.
Since the unboxing, the throttle pinky switch was kind of loose, but was working ok. Today it was the 8th day I am using it and the pinky worked for a couple of times and then it just made a weird click noise during one of the actuations and didn't work anymore. All the rest is working fine, but the throttle pinky switch doesn't respond anymore and it doesn't click in any direction.
Is there anything I can do about it?
My HOTAS serial number is #64822.
It is kind of frustating to get a problem like this is such nice and new setup.
I thank you in advance for any help."
Guys, anyone has gone through something similar? :joystick:
Looking forward to hear from wise users! :helpsmilie:

Hi Guys,
Just to let you know that my orders arrived here and I am very, very, very happy!
It took two weeks o come from Germany to Brazil (close to Sao Paulo) and, as expected, it was taxed by brazilian customs.
I fly in a more ergonomically way now and that will need some reeducation. I do not think I will be able to use an extension, but I will try anyway.
Here goes some pictures of my humble home setup:
Congratulations for your product! It is not cheap, but it worths every cent. I will recommend it and endorse your products for sure.
All the best,
Sydney
