  1. Exactly that! Looking at some of the objects then comparing them to the newer equivilant on the Persian gulf and Nevada map there is a big difference, this is what people see when they play dcs for the first time! Most of the objects In the Caucasus map are from the days of lock on and have not changed at all, the map was updated last year but that was the mesh and making it work with 2.5 no other upgrades really.
  2. The ai aircraft haven't been updated in years, so new aircraft in the world are missing. Such as the Eurofighter Typhoon, F-22, F-35, Saab Gripen amongst others.
  3. Just like how the l39 gps was available to all of us at first
  4. In the aircraft sounds folder it has multiple CENC sound effects however it appears in game they are not utilised? Is this ever going to change?
  5. Yes the buildings around the airport look very poor and are still flaming cliffs era buildings. I'm not talking about adding more models, just replacing the old ones. You have missed the point. Unless there is a mod to replace the hanger, has and atc tower on your screenshots that doesn't help.
  6. Objects around the airports need updating. The atc towers, the hangers, the hardened aircraft shelters.
  7. Why has this not being fixed yet?
  8. Would it be possible to tweak the piston engine effects? In the ceii it us super strong and I can feel the engine rumble but the p-51 among others feels pretty weak :) The -30 51 also has lost its effect again
  9. Do we have an idea on how long this will take, even with my hardware it's making vr impossible right now
  10. I keep getting this issue
  11. Yes I think it was and never the less it should be added and not left.
  12. The issue is that when you trim the stick centre obviously moves forward because the joystick does, as it should. But the curve stays in the original place meaning it is super sensitive. The solution would be to get the curve to change depending on the amount of trim added.
  13. Is it really that much of a big deal? Mine came like 3 months ago and is that style
  14. Is this ever going to be sorted for us vr users?
  15. Try changing the steamvr settings as well, I have it set to 100% and a high pd
  16. The mig and the ce II both have default placeholder sounds. How much longer will it be till we get the correct sound
  17. Just because it's always been the case doesn't mean It shouldn't be fixed
  18. Can I just turn down or delete that sound wherever it is?
  19. Yeah I understand how it is, just would be nice to be fixed, the helos are fine without curves but the f5 and others are awful with and without cos of this
  20. When in external view you can see the nav lights, gear and prop all pop in very close to the camera. I assume this is a lod issue
  21. When looking at the engine gauges all seems to be very rigid something I've not experienced when flying irl, changing the prop rpm is pretty much instant, when leaning off the mixture the engine will just cut out without any rough running or signs. It doesn't seem quite right
  22. Wow you are a bundle of joy aren't you. Have you changed the settings pixel density etc to get it looking good?
  23. Hi, When using force feedback with curves there is an issue with trimming. If you trim the stick will move to where the linear position of the stick should be (no curves) which makes the stick extra sensitive. This is an issue especially in the helicopers, su-27, f-5, mig-29 where trimming is important. I can trim all the way down in the su27 and it will be super sensitive and still climb at a low speed. An easy demonstration of this is with the the huey or mi-8 with the force trim button. If no curves are set you can press it and the stick will stay in the same place. But add some curves and the sick will move out of trim. This issue needs to be fixed for ffb. Lots of people still use ffb and it ruins the experience.
  24. Hi, when flying the f-15c if you engage afterburner you hear a bang type sound as if there is an explosion (it isn't 100% obvious at first). If you slowly advance the throttle through afterburner this sound can be hear multiple times and it is very annoying and not realistic at all. The F/A-18 afterburner sounds are much better. Is there a way I can remove this bang sound that has been with the aircraft for so long?
