My rift bundle arrived today..Gonna be next week before i can touch it,DAMN WORK lol.. Perfect time to do a clean up and reinstall everything fresh,install my new gtx 1070 xtreme gamer vid card and the new ssd and start my training all over again..Not touched my dcs in freakin ages.. They told me that there were nooooo extra charges like shipping or duty and they were dead on...Not even provincial sales taxes so their $549 tag is all you pay..

This was my 1st c 64 game,loved it..

According to oculas,its comming from cali to canada with NO DUTY/EXCHANGE or shipping for $549... Ill believe that when it gets here..Gotta be somebody(other than sales tax)haven their hand out wanting $$...Made oculas aware of that b4 purchase..They say thats the special.. Guess we shall see in a bit..

House failed my brothers and i inspection...Cpl very soft spots in the floor,Structure issues in the foundation,mold...Guessing to bring it into the semi modern ages was $20,000 plus the purchase and without know the costs to fix up foundation...Called the owner and bailed.. So now i just get the rift to look forward to..

Its only a small place for me..My son is all grown up with his own house so now its daddys turn.. Its got a front and back yard for the grandson to come play and a garage for dad and grand pa to play..lol Even got a room for my pc and stereo/cb gear,gonna be perfect lil house for me.. Just got an email from oculas..Tryin to process my order but couldnt cause of my banks security..Got it fixed so im guessing oculas has more stock and will be shipping out very soon.. SWEET!!!....Got 8 more gigs of ram and a gtx 1070 xtreme gamer card to test drive.. Even got some stuff for nausea(dr gave me some incase cancer treatment make me hurl) to so.. Add to that im 50% finished the process of buyin a house..Hopefully finalized next week,maybe it will be awhile before i get to try it out..Darn..

I had troubles with my best buy fast chk out so i never got the one online...Site still shows none avail instore or online.. Oculas is backed up so i have no choice but to wait on the sale priced one..

Back in the nam days the sandys (A1 sky raider)were not ment as dog fighters but easily out maneuvered the migs in turns and did shoot some down.. The A1 was the a10 of days gone by.. yeah it was set for country of canada and @ $549 for the rift and hand ctrls..I was just hopin it wouldnt be shipped from usa and ding me afterwards..I emailed support and got same reply.. BUT as rusky beaver said,a long wait due to back up..SUX!!

Had issues with my best buy visa chk out sign up so i found this thread..Broke out the visa and now i just oredered it..Played email tag a few times and a phone call..EFF THAT BS!! I ordered it from the oculas site,hope the price is not in usd but i did select ship from canada in the options..I sent a msg to oculas support asking same question cause if it is in usd,toldem im gonna cancel

Contacted bb through email and did the tag thing,useless..So i called,still useless and i missed out on the sale..So no rift or swift for me at this time..

Im gonna try the vr route as well...Last night i went to best buy canada and discovered the rift on sale in canada with hand ctrls(ill never use them)for $579 so i did the bb visa chk out....Now im haven issues with bb visa chk out and dont know if i scored the last one online or not..Their cust service is as slow a duck.. I was also lookin at the the swift 278qr and that was onsale to but both are sence gone off sale..So ill be bummed out if i lost the 2 options i was interested in..

I paid alil to much for my gtx 1070 extreme gameing card for my likeing but im also at times impatient..My cdn $ on my card was around $750ish,plus i have been haven a hard time to decide on a monitor or a rift..My old syncmasters bw 226 are never gonna be able to make use of my new card and extra ram

Im not a pc savy but i hear 4k is not the way to go and it might be to much for your card...My suggestion would be a 144 hrz 24" with gsync..Dont bother with freesync its for amd cards

Im so up in the air..Been searching for a new monitor then the rift got into the mix..Rift is $225 cdn cheaper than the pg278qr which was my questionable decision..Best buy has them on sale here in canada for $860 before tax n such and the rift at new egg is $670 before taxes.. Gotta decide by sunday evening as of this post..

What i enjoyed was on that same youtube page were more storys.... I go to bed with the idea of watching a few on my smart tv,but as per usual 10 min later im zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yeah i have the gtx1070 gamer xtreme in mind..Still stuck on a monitor..Im thinkin ill not need gsync with that card so that saves me $100 or so.. If i went with the gtx and the rift i wouldnt have to worry about monitors for the rest...Just gotta learn the ctrls of the warthog so i wouldnt have to be slippin off the rift to see what im useing.....I dont get much time to sim so i have yet to learn the ctrls without lookin..

Damn you guys..Now my thinkin is on the rift..WHICH forces me to look for another vid card,so may as well do a sound card to.. Got a z87x-dhe gigabyte motherboard so i gotta see howm much more of a cpu i can go up..
