  1. That I know. But if your Flightplan has 15 waypoints and you want to return to a specific on you have to push that key up to 14 times. That's why I asked.
  2. Apologies for double-posting but I felt it was necessary to split my rantful help from my actual question/request. How does cycling Waypoints/Airfields in the real F-15 work? Can you cycle up/down like in the Hog? Would it be possible to implement this? Also weapons management is at the moment a little bit annoying as you can't specify if you want a MRM or SRM. And maybe it's possible to implement missile rejection? Would be nice to choose the sidewinder inside the turn for a small advantage in missile energy management.
  3. You didn't read before you post, do you? It is described in the first post. Engage Attitude Hold [A] and then Altitude Hold [H]. In the F-15 you have nothing more, nothing less.
  4. Once you engage the attitude hold switch it is active. Below 5 degrees (correct me if I'm wrong) of pitch you can also engage the altitude hold switch. That's all you get in the F-15. Should be in the manual though.
  5. Your seat is too high!
  6. I would say that the profile of the wing is a little bit to narrow. You can clearly see the downard curve starting at the leading edge. But I know how hard it is to make a 3D model a 100% perfect match, especially when it comes to airfoils. Another reason might be the small offset between the wing and the pylon which needs a workaround in 3D modelling as it is hard to create rectangular joints without having them look stupid. Anyways, keep up the great work!
  7. What do you mean with autopilot not working? It's not the old "press [A] key and follow the mission waypoints 1:1" anymore. You can set the ACS to Attitude Hold and Altitude hold. Nothing less, nothing more. You should check your controls as there have been some changes recently.
  8. I have the MFDs (and fly with TO regularly) without any fancy screens behind them. Just have them laying on my desk right between the primary screen and the keyboard and it's working fine. It doesn't make sense to put them on a secondary screen that's left or right of your primary because the natural movement to look at the MFDs should be downwards. Sure, it just needs practice but unless you're willing to build a simple sim pit with the MFDs right above your knees it's not worth to spend money on 7" USB TFTs (they are all non 1:1 ratio what makes it more odd). If you're experienced with mouse movement while wiggling around with your TIR it's not really necessary but a nice addition. I also don't like to do heavy scripting or macro stuff within the device's drivers as it may interfere with some commands if you use certain commands at once e.g. popping flares and extending brakes while browsing in your MFD pages. No matter how careful you are with writing the stuff you will get to the point where a command is not recognized because of this. And this will mostly come in life or death situations. So better set it up in-game. ;) I would use the Galaxy Tab as something completely different, maybe Master Arm Control Panel, UCF, CDU or Radio Control Panel. Something that has to be used more frequently than anything else and needs to be accessed quick and easy. Things will get nasty sooner or later anyways. ;)
  9. My Cougar works perfectly besides some age-related axis-wobbling. I'm just looking for an easy way to show other people how my setup works.
  10. Try mine. ;) Btw, can anyone tell me where I can make those nice little overviews how my joystick is mapped? I am too stupid to use even MSpaint.^^ my cougar.zip
  11. Su-27 Flanker (Squadron Commander Edition) LHX TFX That's pretty much it. I don't know with what I started. But that was the time when my interests moved from steam trains to steel birds. Screw girls, flying planes is better than woo-hoo. :D
  12. If I got that correct your Warthog Slew couldn't be assigned as mouse axes or actual slew axes? The Slew should be Joy_RX/Joy_RY or something like that. The mouse axes are only to be assigned by the actual mouse unless your slew is set up as a clone of your regular gnawer which is at least possible with the HOTAS Cougar. For example, I have a Cougar and to use the mini-stick for slew I had to change active axis in CCP (I hate TARGET). In fact my slew axes are now JOY_RY and Slider_2. Don't understand why, but it's working perfect! :D Oh boy, I got the bad feeling you sent your stick in for nothing.^^
  13. C:\users\youraccount\savedgames\dcs\missioneditor\unitpayloads Maybe a bit old, but I found this: http://home.arcor.de/eldur/downloads/lolaunchers.txt Can't say if something's missing besides the 9-X.
  14. It's pretty simple to find the IDs of usable weapons. Just create a new one, name it "Missile/Bomb/Rocket XY" and just add one respective ordnance. When using Notepad++ just search for the name of the loadout and only one ID will be shown. The Phoenix has 7575BA0B-7294-4844-857B-031A144B2595 Didn't find the 9-X though as it only saves the variables you can already chose in the editor. €: now with correct ID
  15. I tried myself, works just fine but only after restarting DCS as loadout files are preloaded when the game is started.
  16. In standard settings the directional buttons (or arrow keys) control pitch and roll. But the wheel steering controls are equal to yaw control, which is [Z] for left and [X] for steering/yawing right when using QUERTY keyboard (US/UK). €: Oops, too slow: :D
  17. Hey fellas, I think you misunderstood him. Anyway, can't answer the question, just wanted to speed things up a little. ;)
