  1. Hi StrongHarm, thansk a lot for creating this. It reads interesting and is exactly what we need for training. But when flying multiplayer with my mates we were not able to get it to run, at least after five minutes of loading. I created the server and was in the mission, no problem from my ends. But my two mates had a very long loading time and then finally interrupted. Have we been too impatient or have others seen this as well? Has it to to with my DSL connection (6000 down, 574 up)? Any suggestion is very welcome. Thanks and have a great evening, Xoxen
  2. Now I did at least a SP flight and everything worked like it should in regards to the TGP and the SPI. So I really believe the waypoints (SPIs) were somewhere in the air when I did my MP flight. Regarding the TAD and getting the SPI from my mate I will wait for the next MP flight to verify. I will post the outcome as well. Flight should be thurstday evening or so. Have a great evening, Roland Update: during the MP flight we worked with brodcasting the SPI which worked like charm. I saw it on my TAD at the correct Position. Sending it wasn´t what we have tested because of SAMs spotting us. It got lost in the heat of fire and finally the time ran away.
  3. When I remember right I was able to see his SPI when he broadcasted it. And when I remember right as well this one was accurate. Will check next week during the next MP flight. Tonight I will try to make a short flight to check the other things and will post the outcome. Thanks again. Xoxen
  4. This really makes sense to me. Will have a detailed look on this, many thanks so far. The next MP flight will be by end of next week or so, so my answer comes afterwards. Reading your post somthing came back to my mind. You seem to be right as the TGP was not moving with my flight path but opposite. All of my mentioned points or only one specific? Mine happened with 1.2.10 only. Xoxen
  5. Hi Folks, when I did my last multiplayer flights (did not fly single Player since long time ago) I realized that the SPI given by my mate was not located where he was pointing to. The red triangle appeared on my TAD and when hooking it up, making it my SPI and finally slew the TGP on it there was nothing, no target at all. I saw my mate flying around somewhere else and his Explanation of the Point he sent to me was very much different. So I wonder if this is a bug or if I did something wrong. Additionally when slewing the TGP to the SPI (waypoint as well) at the last two flights the TGP slew to a point but was not fixed at the ground at that specific point. Instead of that it moved slightly into the direction I was heading to. When moving it with the ministick it was fixed at the ground again. Strange. Maybe I changed a setting by accident which I have to switch back but I´m not aware of any change I did. Maybe someone has something similar and can help. I need to re-check within the next days to see if the problem is till there but was wondering if I´m the only one (my problem) or if it is a general problem (bug). Thanks in advance and best regards, Xoxen
  6. Thanks Yurgon for your statement. Actually I´m doing fine with the Cougar but I started thinking about the Warthog last week when my "Radio switch" got broken. I was able to fix it as I still have some spare parts but then I figured out the impreciseness when doing formation flight, not even to think about air refuelling. I believe first of all I will adjust the axis and then start to put some money aside. Thanks again and have a nice day. Xoxen P. S.: Und noch einen schönen 3. Oktober ;-)
  7. Hi dbunger, I have a Cougar by myself and yesterday I got the feeling during formation flying that it could be a little bit more accurate. Maybe I can adjust the axis inside of DCS to get it more precise but also would like to know the difference between the Cougar and Warthog handling wise. As you should be able to answer this question after you received your Warthog this question came up to me. Would be great if you share your impressions. Thanks, Xoxen
  8. Any News on this? Rgds, Xoxen
  9. [quote= name = _('Camera + bs'); name = _('1 Screen') [/=Quote] You have 2x "name=" in your lua file. According to my knowledge the name will be displayed in options. But as you have 2 inside what should be displayed? So I would delete 1 and the line above. Hope this helps, Roland
  10. I just switched to 3 monitors, they are 1x19" and 2x24", i use them mostly with helios but also rran them with my pit all over them. I did not see a dramatical loss in FPS. My specs are in my sig and your cpu is much better than mine and the gpu is coparable. So I would expect it to be ok with three 23" display. Hope this helps, Roland
  11. I only can attach myself to this post as I´m in a similar situation. Started flying not too long time agon and just finished my first Multiplayer flight and it was amazing, even though my Track IR quit working before take off. But anyway. This is another story. Great forums and as mentioned, nearly everything answered. Not to forget the great people here. Roland

  14. Hello all, I think about to be a visitor at the LLTM together with my 8 year old boy. My plan was to watch some pilots flying the A-10C but as I just read the amount of participants is too low actually. Unfortunately I am not able to stay longer than half of a day not worth it to move all my stuff over to Enschede. Additionally I just started to dig deeper into the Simulation but my real life makes it hard to go straight forward in a short term. So up to now I´m only flying single player but want to take the opportunity to meet some real people and to see how they are doing the things. I hope I can arange this but it is also dependant on people flying DCS. Hope some more will join as I really like the idea of this meeting. I´m following the LLTM since years but from the distance. Maybe I get closer by this year and could be part of it some time later. Let´s see what the future brings up. All the best for the meeting and maybe we see us later on. Xoxen (Roland from Cloppenburg, Germany)
Mal sehen, was daraus wird.
Mal sehen was draus wird. So, das war´s fürs Erste. Gruß und bis denne, Roland (Xoxen)
