dude awesome screens SKF! :thumbup: A couple of thoughts for future updates Could the gun funnel be changed to something like this? Maybe this is due to the skin or whatever, but can there be a "hole" in the refueling port? And could mirrors or handles be added to the canopy? That would be awesome! Walmis you are a living god.

There's still a couple more things that needs to be done, i got this from a PM from walmis Lighter Canopy color <- dunno, tried but without much success, in model viewer it looks ok tho. Corrected nose shape (more curve near the tip) <- will do Antenna on the top of the nose <- will do Hydraulic for canopy <- dunno about that, very complex stuff. Staircase -< um, maybe Adjusted gun funnel <- done Add refueling port <- already done dude So maybe when walmis comes back from christmas vacation or wherever he is, we could see an update.

when you guys find the time, please make all this information into a tutorial or update the cdds pdf file.

Please don’t take this the wrong way but which model are you trying to add to the game. All those models doesn’t exactly suit Lock On. The harrier, jaguar, F-15E…etc don’t have an FM in the game so basically you are going to replace the harrier with an A-10? Which would be highly unrealistic. Based on the videos released by The Battle Sim, which probably showed some features of Black Shark, there’s already a harrier. We already have a decent F-18 in the game. The F-15E is plausible if you submit it to ED but it has to be your own work, it has to be below 50k poly, and it has to be accurate. I don’t think that model satisfy any of those 3 categories. From the looks of it, like the nose, it doesn’t look correct.

Just wanted to know some tactics you guys use. I watched ironhand’s tutorials (very useful) and constantly use the tactical break…etc for those radar guided missiles, but how do you guys usually dodge heat-seeking missiles. It doesn’t really give you a warning and I don’t know which direction its coming from, this is also the same for some radar guided missiles. Basically I’m just doing random turns. If it was a 1v1 battle then yea i have some ideas where the missile is coming from but when its like 4v4, the sky is covered with missiles and i don't know which one is coming at me. I try not to use the padlock incoming missile view since I'm preparing to fight online and i know some servers play on the highest realism. Any suggestions?

I set my slider on my X-52 to zoom in and out in the cockpit but is it possible to control the zoom in external view as well but not conflict with the cockpit zoom?

sorry but where is the meinit.xml file? Edit: i think i found it in the ME folder but i can't find the new texture skins (ie walmis panther skins). Please help, i'm running on version 1.12a. Or if its not too much trouble, create a version 2 of your pdf file in ur sig that insert CDDS files, it was because of you that taught me how to use it.

I just finished converting all my hires skins to cdds but I was wondering how do you add more skins to a particular plane. For example, in walmis F-15, he added a few skins that I would like to delete and replace them with a few of my own skins. So could anyone tell me how to 1.) Delete the new skins walmis added since I prefer realism so I didn’t want the dark panther skin (no offense) 2.) Add my own new additional slots to the F-15 and named it.

With all due respect, please don’t post images of “new” model unless they are yours or you can add it into the game legally. No sense in giving the community a false sense of hope. Besides, those models will basically be “useless” since we want to replace old current models rather than add new models that doesn’t even have a FM for it. Aside from the F-16 and the C-130, everything else doesn’t have a FM because that plane doesn’t exist it Lock On. -
Any idea what the Master Arm is used for in Lock On? IIRC, its for the western aircraft? But you could fire without turning on the Master Arm if you get a lock or whatever. Is it similar to fire-control override?

Is it possible to make the canopy color slightly lighter? The one we have now is kinda dark/colorful. (almost like oil is on the glass) lol, but its good either way :thumbup:

was that F-117 a fs9 addon? Because everytime i insert an fs9 addon into fsx, i get some weird gauges thing. Do you get the same thing?

I was just thinking about this the other day when i was diving with the MiG-29 and it reached maximum speed and i fired my guns at an object on the ground. Then i thought, for those planes that could fly really fast like the Sr-71 (i know it doesn't have a gun) but if it had one, would the gun even fire at speeds up to mach 3+? (which is around 1020.87 m/s)
