I see Mike Cinch Perry is also banned, hitman was banned for a while, but he's back up with a 100% warn. Is this all of a result of one mod abusing his power or something else?

I've noticed quite a few members are being banned and i was wondering why. I didn't see any offensive post, did they do something wrong or did someone hacked into the forum and banning people?

Well since I'll be flying the mig, i'll be going against mainly american sam sites, do you have any comments about that? Like which one should i have fun toying around. Also, i won't be flying at their max range, i want to be right up in their face because i want to bomb something next to them. So i would literally be flying over them.

I was just wondering what SAM sites do you boys usually go against when you edit a mission. For example, you are flying a MiG-29, so you are not on a strela hunt or anything. Which SAM sites are the hardest to evade and which one is the easiest. I was thinking about a mission where i can test my skills dodging these missiles.

I see there's a new sony vegas 7.0e or something. Maybe i should just keep it simple and get v6. Is there any difference between v6 and v7? Oh, and another question about sony vegas, how big is it once its installed? I need to clear up some space on my HD.

k thanks. I don't want to create a new thread for this question but i have 2 question about fraps 1.) when i press record, its kinda laggy so i want to make things smoother. First, i tried recording it half-size under the options in fraps. But then i don't see any video, any reason why? Well its recording in full-size, it works just fine. 2.) To improve on the fps, I want to follow GA's example and record with half time or whatever and later speed it up in vegas. But could anyone tell me how many times do i have to press alt+a to slow down the gameplay by 2x, 4x...etc.

What is the latest and best version of Sony Vegas. I'm guessing its version 7 but there are many variants like 7.0a, 7.0b, 7.0c. I want to know which one should i get for movie making.

could anyone post some screens of the 3 version of hangers. Also, do they have damage model now? (I'm talking about all points, not just a small area on the roof. If not, is it possible to add this feature when birdy comes out in the scenery mod?

So birdy, aside from maybe adding the yak-28 and some hangers, do you plan on adding anything else for beta1.3 of the scenery file?

I've been installing a couple of cockpit textures lately but now that I'm uninstalled some, i don't recall this texture being here. Can anyone confirm that this was part of the stock cockpit of the Su-27? It looked a bit weird so i was just wondering.

Yea welcome to Lock On. About the SF thing, most of us agree with you but we just have to live with it. ED chose to use the SF protection, i would be glad if they removed it since it has brought nothing but bad reputation for them, but we have to use it. When lock on gold was printed, half of them cannot be loaded due to SF, and then when the site went down, half of the download users couldn't reactivate their product leaving several pissed off people.

great video, would be nice if there was a higher quality out there. I tried to look for it via torrent/e-mule. Colt, if you can manage to rip a higher quality version, doesn't matter how big it is, like 700 mb, i would like to get this awesome vid.

I agree with what Kung Fu said, the textures looked fine to me. Is it possible to release what you have and sometime in the future release a version 2 pack?

Ah that's a shame, well i guess this could set a future example to all 3d models. Maybe aim for the models that we see frequently in the game like our main flyables, or other common aircraft like the tanker, AWACS, or bombers...etc. Especially those western aircraft since we know ED is not really going to improve on them.

EECH2 graphics are no better than the original EECH + mods. It seems like another F4:AF, they basically took and old and successful game, did a little revamp that seems no better than what free community mods would do, and sold it on the market.

agreed, the link to the Su-27UB skin seems to be down. I would like to add it to my collection.

EECH2 totally sucked, the old EECH + mods was a lot better.

btw, what about the X-52 pro? I currently have an X-52, but i just can't bring myself up to the task to buy the pro version because i don't see a significant improvement. The tension on the stick is improved a little, but I can achieve the same tension with the plastic washer on the X-52. The feel quality is about the same, the pro version has more metal. But the MFD is the only thing i haven't checked out in the pro version. Regardless, it shouldn't be about 100 dollars increase in price from the original X-52? Just wanted to hear your side of the story.
