I just uninstalled Walmis F-15 model and I’ve got a couple of problems- its probably due to the fact that I removed everything except for the meinit file because I have done extensive modding to that so uninstalled the F-15 reverted back to a very old meinit and I couldn’t sacrifice my other mods. So I continued using the same meinit file from before I uninstalled the F-15. I did manage to remove the extra skin slots that came with the mod, but now I see the walmis missile pack, along with the fuel tanks are out of alignment. As you can see the Aim-9, AIM-120, and fuel tanks are out of place. Could anyone tell me how to fix that? And does anyone know what else I should erase from my meinit file that was leftover from walmis F-15?

i think the stock install of FSX was about 18 gigs, can't really tell since mine has grown past 30 now.

Man this happy occasion for a new A-10 model was derailed by you Troff. Making a new A-10 model from scratch takes time, and more time = unhappy hoggers. If you can't prove that this A-10 didn't come from krazyscotman, then stop creating such a big commotion about it. Yeniceri, please continue this project, its really nice.

yes the TVC nozzles are cool to have but its not going to help in any way. Its just for show. You are rarely going to see it since its always behind you. And when you hit the afterburners, i think the cone is still going in one direction rather than follow the nozzles since i read that was hardcoded. Plus, the F-35A doesn't have thrust vector so that shouldn't be on it. So yea, i agree, stick to realism and it would be better to model the planes on the list ED wants.

You "could" do that, but the problem is, we're not in the U.S.A =) You set set it up yourself, if you want, just for fun. Replace a hanger's banner with Fightertown USA and put the 2 static object planes in front.

dude almost all your post ask the same question over and over again: demo demo demo. If you haven't got an answer at this point, the answer should be pretty clear. For ED to make a demo is just going to be another waste of time. And whats so good about a demo anyway, its not going to feature the ka-50. Its just going to be like the FC demo without the Su-25T. Its no wonder your reputation has dropped to zero, these questions are getting annoying.

You missed the point. Improvement to the FM allows the AI to stop cheating. So it is an improvement to the wingman AI as well.

I highly recommend for you to NOT shoot your mouth off and say bad things about FC or starforce...etc. We've seen in the past those get threads locked. Your reputation already dropped to 0 in the last hour. Any more will probably get you banned. So either put up or shut up.

The best way to solve this problem is by calming down. If you are shouting at ED or whoever, they are not going to be too thrilled to help you. So step back and recognize that ED is having some problems with their payment, your best bet is to contact them directly rather than post of a forum.

Nothing was wrong with it, however, it was a WIP, and now there can't be any more updates to it since the original model was lost. For example, the shape could be improved to be more "accurate." Ah thanks, i have one question about fraps. For some reason, its not recording my in-game sound. Its not that big of a problem since most of my vid is going to be the song, but i would like to have the option of recording sound for some scenes. Right now, my fraps is set to half-size, and i did check record sound. The sound device is SigmaTel Audio and Sound input is Line in (i also changed this to stereo mix). I also went to my control panel and under sound and audio devices/audio/volume- i pushed it all the way up. I just don't understand what is causing this.

oh, and what fps do you boys usually set under for fraps? Currently mine is 30, i think lowering this number would give me better performance? But i don't want to lower it too much otherwise my videos would be a slideshow.

I'm pretty sure if and when they do decide to do that, they would probably release some sort of patch that might remove SF since their profit is already maximized so they could care less about FC.

Ah yes that's where i went wrong. Tell me, is it better to record at 800x600, or record at HALF SIZE, at 1280x960 (because the final product is going to be 640x480). Which would give me better performance?

I have to agree that I'm not too "thrilled" about starforce either, but i put up with it since its attached to my most favorite game. And yea, i prefer the cd version. The whole activation thing on the download copy seems like you are "borrowing" the game from ED. If the company goes under (god hopes not) or the server is down, or starforce server is down, then you can play anymore. Hopefully the copy protection is change, plus it takes away some of the heat away from this game so more people are willing to buy it. A lot of people hears the word starforce and runs.

Is it called Record AVI? Because going into this menu makes my comp slow as hell and its not even recording anything yet. Is that normal? And when i recorded, i got a BSOD 0x00000050, twice in a row. So i guess fraps is my only option.

If i understand that correctly, doesn't that mean there won't be any sound? Since its just basically screenshots? Is there another way to render it, using the lock on interface, to make it with sound?

So by rendering in Lock on, you would get no lag? But it just takes a long time? Could someone tell me the step by step process how to use the lock on interface once I have made a track with all the proper view angle.

Ah thanks Sponge and SKF, that fixed my problem. Let me ask a question to you folks, what is the best way to render a video at max quality? I don't want any stutters, and if i record with fraps, even slowing it down will still give me some stutters. So how do you guys do it?

Hey guys, i was wondering could you help me with this problem 1.) Whenever i record with fraps, it record just fine when the option is selected to full-size, but when i set it to half-size, the video recorded plays back a black screen Is it because I'm running on a duo core 2? If so, how can i fix the problem? I really want to improve my fps when recording because i run at a really hi-res (1920x1200). That's why i want to record in half size. By cpu is a 2.00 ghz. 2.) Where is the playback rate option? I can't seem to find it in the drop down menu in vegas 7.

Yea but I’m just saying, I didn’t see any offensive post by these members. If they crossed the line and started cussing people out then yea I fully support the ban.
