I remember someone showed a WIP screen of a futuristic MiG-29 skin, it was a modify version of Mitch's skin http://www.lockonfiles.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=69&lid=111&ttitle=MiG-29_German_AF__skin#dldetails It was more detailed and had more weather effect, does anyone have it? I believe it was Gozr who was making it but I could be wrong.

What's the difference between "All Planar" and "Active Planar" And on the side note: has anyone figure out how to fix the full shadows yet?

I don't understand what matze81 was trying to say. I know he doesn't like SKF's idea, but what's this thing about clear visors. There wasn't any clear visors WIP pictures of borchi's model. and then he said as if he agreed, what?!

What's the difference between BTR-70 and the BTR-80? They look the same in my eyes.

But for each seaon, the textures are named the same WPP WPP_DARK WPP-KRAY WPP-RUL ..etc And yet they only appear in summer.

Since I haven't heard from rockwelder or anyone, I got a question about Sim-mod Reload. I really like the runway textures in it, but as you all know, it applies only for summer. However one texture applies to all season and that's the tarmac texture. But runway and everything else doesn't carry over, i want the runway textures to carry over as well. How can i do this?

Awesome! Thank you rep inbound. Here's another shot in the dark, is it possible to turn off labels for allied missiles but keep the enemies' missile labels on? or if that's not possible, turn off labels for bombs only, but missiles stay?

yea I know its a drag from immersion but currently I do not have a TrackIR, but I'm saving money up for it. So I can't always look around to see the incoming missiles or IR missiles especially. I figure its best to crawl before I run so with labels, I'm getting the feel of how to dodge missiles properly. especially with the AIM-120, its smokeless so I can't even see it before I get hit. But seeing how it behaves I can learn. Whatever manuver I do, I can see the missile react. Eventually I would turn off labels when I get use to it, but please could someone create this mod? I would really appreciate it.

thanks but could someone create a small mod, that ONLY shows labels on missiles? Nothing else like aircraft and vehiciles. That would be really nice.

Yes I fly with labels on, I was getting a bit tired of getting shot down by AIM-9 without any warnings. But I would like to adjust it just a bit. For example, is it possible to turn off labels under certain distance...like less than 1.5 km, the labels won't turn on? Sometimes when you do a fly-by, I don't like to see the labels on my plane.

Does anyone have any good quick missions they would like to share? I'm mainly looking for A-10 missions in honor of the Sim-mod A-10. But any other planes would also be nice. I did look at some of the ones on lockonfiles, however, some of them are pretty long. I'm looking for something a bit more "arcadish" if you want to call it that. Just something to get you into the battle, usually one or two objective and have fun. Just a quick get in and get out, just like our women ;)

Sounds like they work for you. May I remind you that they are doing this on their own free time. If you can't understand that, maybe you should start creating mods and have hundreds of people demand for updates, then you will know how they feel. Just calm down, I'm sure they are doing fine.

I was going to create a new thread, but I figure I should ask it here since it relates with the AI 1.) How do you make the C-130 open its cargo bay door when its on the ground. I believe i saw a screenshot of it. This goes the same for the chinook. 2.) How do you make the tornado mid-air refuel?

I'm not quite sure how to save .tga files properly. When I do save it, for example numbers for aircraft, they just appear as white squares in game. So how do it do it correctly?

really? That's how everyone does it? Man....that sucks lol So could you explain a bit on what each value means. Because I basically moved it by 1 and the weapon is far off the pylon. So I have to go by decimal which....isn't really fun.

Could anyone explain to me how to find the exact x, y, z values of pylon positions of weapons. For example, lets say there was a new model, and you are trying to line up the weapons to the pylons by editing the meinit. Any help would be appreciated, because right now, I'm doing it the manual way, edit a little and see in game, and that takes wayy too long and its innaccurate.

Is it possible for the Ada team to also release the model individually as it is finished. Because I don't have the ada mod, but I would like to replace my AI mirage 2000 aircraft with this model. Could you guys make a pakage like that? Excuse my english. -
You have to use more AA in those shots, or turn up the texture quality.
