yea that might be hard, if lock on this is a separate device, IIRC, it turns off all shortcuts such as the desktop...etc. That's why people can't play music with winamp or something. Is it possible to turn off this feature?

Is there a way to decrease the speed of the zoom function (the * and / keys?). On the external view (f2 view), it zooms in pretty fast and its hard to get the screenshot/video I'm looking for. I know about the ctrl * and / (that's more like FOV zoom) and I know in ctrl-f11 you can use alt+* and /, I'm looking for something i can change in a file to slow down the zoom function. Any ideas how and what values should i plug in?

Like when you said they should steer clear of the A-10 and F-15, I highly disagree with that because those stock models (I'm aware of walmis F-15) are horrible. They badly need to be reworked.

Ven, you keep switching your statements around. First you said those WIP screens will not have that many polys in game but as we seen with the Su-25T and ka-50, apache that in fact it would be. Then you say those models are not practical. But ED have said you would basically get the same performance as you do with FC due to lods. Also, there are some work done on the terrain. Regardless getting to a debate over this is useless since its not like we're going to change what ED is building.

Dude, ED doesn't even know what they are going to do after Black Shark so how are we suppose to know?! Is there a way to dramatically reduce the size of a particular picture but it would only slightly reduce the quality. I'm trying to put a background on a website and the resolution is high, so is the size. I don't want to resize it, just reduce the size with little loss to quality. Is there a way to do that in photoshop? I've tried converting it to gif, but the color quality got reduced. Any suggestions would be useful. I posted this question here because some people may find it useful for sig rules as well.

I'm currently using the ENHANCED FPS WATER MOD by D-Scythe, its great but is there a way to make the tiles less visible? Like especially during dawn or something, you can clearly see the water tiles when it moves under the sun. Majesco v2 of the water mod (IIRC) fixed the tile issue but then it has a white horizon thing. I'm sure some of you have heard about the Rambo 4 movie coming out so i was watching Rambo 3 just now. What is the helicopter that the Russian general was using? I don't think i ever saw that before unless it was made especially for the movie. When i was young, i thought it was the Hind, but i guess i was wrong.

Regardless if its old work, it is still ED's work. They won't even release their old models for us to work on because it might show up in other sims/areas. So they want to protect it as much as possible. Probably some of the things from Black Shark will carry over to the new sim.
