  1. Is the nose turned by default, since I haven't touched the controls. Edit: ok got it it's the wind, if it's blowing from left side of the plane, plane turns left and vice versa.
  2. Well if it's below 1200ft. with mil. power I guess it's below 1200 ft. with full afterburners.
  3. According to one source, takeoff distance would be less than 1200ft. - clean, with military thrust @ 0 degrees celsius.
  4. What I've read similar to F-16.
  5. Hmmmm.........
  6. You should install DCS World and the install the A-10C from there, there's module manager to handle it. It then asks your serial when installing. You don't need HOTAS software to use it necessarily. But if you want to, install whenever you want, that's not directly related to game (I assume you mean Target software). If HOTAS needs some core drivers, (I didn't need to install any with Win 7) they can be installed whenever too, game doesn't care.
  7. Thank you Sryan.
  8. Why did you even post?
  9. 1) I have 8€ bonus, but when I put module to cart, it's full price, why? 2) Why do bonuses expire? When I have bought a product, the fact that I have bought a product, doesn't cease to exist.
  10. And don't forget to open canopy when landing, it doubles airbrake capacity. Optimal carrier landing configuration; That is a typical low-weight landing config for pilots looking for a new job, also configuring wings like that reduces the chance of hitting other planes or some unfortunate LSO, who's still standing on the deck when landing.
  11. "...Each time it scans and discovers a new openbeta 1.5 is locks up on the updating myself portion, and 'cancel' won't close it. My system won't even shutdown itself and has to be cold booted. It doesn't effect the systems operation, the thread is just locked and will not close, or finish updating... " Search C: drive for dcs_updater.exe and use that exe or download new version if you don't have it in C:.
  12. Planes generally don't like high negative Gs due fuel pressure/feed/air intake problems, but that's a good way to get you blushed. If you need to make a turn like that, better to go inverted and execute.
  13. Or you could damage the other wing too, to the point it's looks similar than other one, then maybe half the ailerons, then you'd have perfectly symmetrical and aerodynamical landing setup, that should do it.
  14. around 620-630 and up
  15. Sure here it is.
  16. Well, nice to be a part of great community where things get sorted.
  17. She said shes ok .... Actually about the first picture, they landed a plane with other wing 60 and other 20 degrees, so pretty nice flying. Wouldn't wanna try carrier landing in that condition.
  18. Don't worry..
  19. So if I put radar on, and then make 90 degree turn left, radar points to my right at 90 degrees? Or is it just elevation? This gets confusing. Edit: Ok, if you would have said this "...radar is stabilized in reference to the horizon, not your nose." earlier, this thread would be a lot shorter.
  20. Ok, I see that VVI doesn't tell really aoa then, haven't studied these just thought. Anyway when pointing nose to target, what difference does it make what targets altitude is? isn't radar following the nose of the plane unless manipulated otherwise?
  21. This should give you idea of targets alt. Also if you wanna take another look at the pictures, F-16 is scanned with different PRFs with lower altitude at aoa 20, target in the middle of HUD. If the radar is that bad that it can't lock a target in front of the planes nose, so be it.
  22. Then I must have superb radar, heck I can smell the plane. ^^ But fine, if it is the reason I live with that, just feel pity for russian pilots lol I think that answer is the most logical one, since the radar beam isn't very good below nose, well non-existant.
  23. Should have taken .trk, but didn't..
  24. A-10s should be around 6700m MSL - <1500 mountains and F-16 headed my way, I'd say 6000+. hard to say, can't see the my exact aoa to calculate the F16s alt.
  25. VVI should give you a hint, F-16 is right in FRONT of me. if the radar isn't pointing forwards like the HUD says, where is it pointing?
