  2. Built in viewer. No point using livery dialog, because it won't update the texture, I'd have to close and reopen and reload texture viewer everytime I have made edit to texture.
  3. I'm trying to load custom MiG-15 texture to model viewer, but it refuses to load it - I've used successfully before. Loaded MiG_15bis.EDM, mounted my texture dir, reloaded model - the name of the texture is MiG-15_DIF.bmp, but it doesn't load it. What could be wrong?
  4. There's a big lag/delay when using flaps. For example when I fully lower them, I must wait sec or two to get them back up. This is intentional I assume? Edit Nevermind, they work differently than I thought.. can't go back from full to half. However there's some bug, I had flap handle "retract" position and flaps were down full, which shouldn't be possible.

I'm not an expert, but I think if there would be some other malware in your machine, trojans etc. they want internet connection and by injecting themselves with some other program which has internet connection would cause connection to be "infected". So they legit program makes connection and trojan hitchhikes with it, maybe AV then detects that there's something weird happening and flags the legit program as malware. Like I said not really an expert the technical stuff with these.

  7. Yes, ok, but still it downloaded that 20+ gigs to SSD. It shouldn't use SSD as download folder, since it writes the same data twice then.
  8. Just started updating DCS, first it updated to 1.55, then I started to update to 2.04 - altogether it needs to download over 20 gigs data + plus the copying from stable version to 2. Anybody in ED have any idea what this kind of file transferring does to SSDs? I don't wanna be buying new SSDs because DCS feels to write and write ridiculous amounts of data to discs. There needs to be more efficient way of handling updates. My both versions were updated and working ok, say some 2 months tops ago. Why do I need to download that large amounts of data again? Over 20 gigs of old data have changed?

  11. Happens sometimes with me too, lately twice with 2.0.3 then I just click mouse on screen and windows asks whether to wait the program to respond or close, I just close reload and start the same mission and it works. So definately DCS bug.
  12. I wish Mission Editor would save SAT view when saving mission so I wouldn't need to enable it always when loading mission. Minor thing yea, but if it's easily configured why not.

  14. Is this intended? Because it prevents me from properly adjusting external view with mouse as I normally do. How could I disable it?

JazonXD "Issue I'm having is whenever there's a ground battel going on and i'm up in the air, a few 10 to 20 miles away, as soon as my screen has that ground battle in sight, GPU utilization drops to single digit percentages. Sometimes like 10 or 20%. So basically, it's getting bottlenecked by CPU. Also, CPU always sits at about 30 to 40% so evidently, it's only using about 1 to 2 threads even though I have 4 cores. DCS really likes higher frequency CPU because since it only uses those 1 to 2 cores, the higher the frequency, the more it affect framerates. Otherwise, graphical settings are basically all on high or ultra, Anti Aliasing set to 16x (There is basically no performance difference AT ALL whatsoever between the settings) and depth of field is off. Vsync is off. When the performance tanking happens, I drop from about 70 to 80 fps down to 20 or sometimes even 15. If I'm staring into the sky or I'm simply at a very high altitude, i easily get about 150 to 180. " That sums up well my issues, game is just like that here too. Terrible frame drops.
  19. The plane is nicely nose little bit up on runway loosing speed, I'm not touching pitch until hell breaks loose with FBW, and I slightly try to counter that. This tailstrike thing must be the new trend. I had no trouble landing before the latest update. Track number 2 shows, how, when the nose should have started falling it rises up to the point where tailstrike happens. This time I didn't touch the controls at all. After tailstrike I pushed nose down.

  22. Everytime I mark a thread "read", after closing browser and visiting forums again it's again bold, like I've never read that. I've tried using marking all threads "read", but still that happens. Makes thread tracking hard. I'm using Firefox and browser is set up to accept cookies. Also site logs me off usually within minute or so. Probably as I'm typing this I get logged off again.

If you check my bug thread, there's a much wrong with having fuel tanks, especially wing tanks, or full fuel load, I can't takeoff properly because of drifting, and I don't even try anymore, cause I know it's not right - don't wanna bang my head on the wall anymore. I don't know if it helps, but maybe you could try a flight without fuel tanks and see if it still does that.
  25. The ones who have had plane drifting in landing or takeoff, in that particular mission/flight, did you have any fuel tanks at any time?
