It still breaks lock when switching between the lock modes, but only when F14 is turning (within radar gimbal limit). I will try make a video soon. I'm a little busy recently and I've never made videos before. It will take some time.... I will update you with videos.

Hi, if you pay for an game accelerator, about 10 yuan/ month. You will be fine. I recommend you check out QiYou (奇游加速器) It can accelerate DCS for EU and US servers. My friends are using it to play on BuddySpike Blue flag. It works just fantastic. You will have a ping about 150ms. But DCS pvp is pretty slow paced. As long as there’s no package loss, ping up to 300 ms should work just fine.

Hi, I still have two questions: 1) Will the ED aim7M inherit the loft bug from ED? is it an exact copy of the missiles? 2) Will the ED aim7 has thick white smoke or will it be changed to HB much more realistic looking smoke?

Hi, sadly you can't even hit space mirages head on with Sparrows if M2k is flying at Mach 2 and above... I also fly on Blue Flag Caucasus a lot. :smilewink:

Can we add the key binding to ask Jestor to change FOV of the TCS? Sometimes I wish to change FOV to better ID contact a little bit far. But Jestor wouldn't do that automatically. Also it is best if we can have separate binding for asking Jester to go P-STT and PD-STT. Because there's no feed back or indication whether we are currently in P-STT or PD-STT mode.

Hi, if you fly a perfect notch then chaff. It can be chaffed. Because the missile is guided by DP radar on the shooting platform. If you are higher and have a high relative speed outside of shooter’s notch filter then your chaff will do nothing. If you are lower then the ground is good enough to cover your radar signature, the only thing you need to do is to perfect notch. Again chaff does nothing in this situation. But you should understand SARH missiles are significantly harder to chaff than ARH missiles. I rarely bring chaff in a fox1 only environment because you wouldn’t really need them. The only time you will probably need chaffs is when defending SAM. You will likely be higher than the SAM radar for obvious reason. You first have to notch, then chaff, then prey that missile selected the wrong target and went for the chaff. If you like fox1 fighting I suggest you go to Buddyspike Cauc server to try your fox1 skills. Have a good hunting, sir.

Aim9 compare look normal to me. But I’ve got one thing. If you compare aim9 seeker gimbal limit on F14 against a notching target, try to follow the lead cue when ACM cover is closed. It will surprise you. I don’t know if the aim9 seeker gimbal limit is wrong or the lead cue is off. I guess it is the later. I usually have better lead if I ignore the lead cue and use my own judgement. Good hunting~

Yes, usually first flight is normal. Landed rearm refuel fly for another 30 minutes an then the ladders are 30 degrees off. Have to turn it off and fly with back up gauges some time or just VFR.

Some times when I fly F14 with Jestor, the artificial horizon will skew. I've never had a clue what was the cause and how to fix that. Can you also say something about that?

That is a nice thread. And I've posted about 10 threads on HB sub forum. HB developers never made a single reply to my threads. I don't know what is going on. But I do see they fixed one bug that I reported earlier without any communication though.

Hi, it highly depends on you fire parameters. I usually can achieve one shot one kill in PVP environment if the opponent didn't give me enough pressure.

I fly a lot on blueflag Cauc server. That is a fox1 only server, try your skill on it and you will understand it better.

I bet you didn't try HB AIM7M on F14. They are very easily notched and chaffed. You don't need to energy defeat it.

No, you are not. I do a lot of competitive fox1 only combat. I have good experience with all fighters, all missiles against anything in DCS. AIM7M on F14 is under performing comparing to others.
