As others have noted, the F10, freezing, stuttering, crashing in VR, press F10, or the equivalent hotas binding, come back into game, and every 5 seconds the game freezes, eventually crashing the game. I have finally found my problem and I F10nd about 20 times and I came back with 90 FPS every time. I switched back to full screen and unticked confine cursor to screen. Maybe only one fixed it or maybe both, but I ain't touching either of them again, I can finally play after 2 to 3 years of firing up DCS, crashing on the F10 map, getting pi**ed off, taking down my flight gear and setting my wheel back up for driving sims. If this fix keeps on working, I might start buying stuff again.

Do you tick boost game priority in the VDS, enabling boost game priority fixed the crashing problem for me.

Unfortunately it wouldn't boot with XMP with the old and the new RAM, I set everything manually and it still wouldn't boot, it came up with the screen saying the error of my memory OC wouldn't work, press F1 to run setup, etc. CPUz, with just my older Samsung DRAM in A2 B2, it shows the timings of XMP 36,36,36,76 2800 and Samsung DRAM in the SPD, with the new RAM in A1 B1 and my older RAM still in A2 B2, it showed the SPD A1 Hynix,A2 Samsung, B1 Hynix, B2 Samsung, the timings were 40,40,40,77, 2000, the XMP still showed the 36,36,36, 76 2800 timings. It says 4 sticks will default to 4800 which I would have been OK with, but even manually I couldn't get it to run at 4800 . Anyway thank you all for your help, the Hynix memory is on its way back to Amazon, but reading what Eighty Duce said, I should have probably sent back the Samsung and kept the Hynix as they were identical, apart from the manufacture date in CPUz.

So last year I built a new PC and got 2x16gig corsair 5600, CMK32GX5M2B5600C36, yesterday I bought another 2X16 gig CMK32GX5M2B5600C36, same bar code on the box, everything exactly the same, booted up and there it was 64 gig of RAM. Only problem was it now said 40,40,40,77 4000 instead of 36,36,36,76. 5600, it didn't even go to the default 4800. I tried a few things in the BIOS but it would not boot unless it was set to 40,40,40,77 4000. Fired up CPUz and looking at the SPD it Turns out that Corsair are now using Hynix in the new memory and were using Samsung in my old stuff. I know I shouldn't have mixed and matched and populated all 4 banks, but it was worth a try and I didn't know they had switched to Hynix. So I am going to get 2 x 32 gig sticks but where can you find out what DRAM manufacturer they are using, I know there isn't much between Samsung and Hynix but I would prefer Samsung.

I always tick invulnerable, maybe because I haven't played for a while my pilot got run over while he was on leave, or eaten by a shark whilst scuba diving, it could have been a mugging gone wrong, I know he liked Australia, so maybe he got lost in the bush. Anyway, I have hired a Private Investigator to try and find out what happened to him, I owe that to his family.

I went on yesterday to carry on with the campaigns and all my progress was lost (could have happened a few months ago though as I don't play this much anymore), I had to make a new pilot as it said my original pilot was dead. Lost all campaign progress and medals due to having to make a new pilot.

I have been getting black flashing artifacts on the right of my PICO 4 for a week now, only in DCS world, so I switched back to 565.90 and the flashes are gone, I also noticed in the DCS world stats, with 566.03 I was using >11,000 memory, cold start on the Stennis and with the 565.90 drivers, this has dropped to, 7700. Massive difference in usage between Nvidia drivers.

If you look in your bin-mt folder in DCS world, you will see the nvngx_dlss.dll, click on properties then details and it should say ver 3.7.0, so swap it with 3.7.20 is what I would do.

I am just glad I googled it otherwise I still would not be playing DCS world because of this game breaking polling rate bug.

Thanks' draconus, I installed the file from the DCS folder but no joy, I have to start a VR game in Steam to get SteamVR open, because Steam VR will not launch by itself anymore, then the Steam VR box comes up and it says Steam VR isnt the current runtime, so I go into the open xr settings and try to change it from "current openxr runtime, Virtual Desktop bundled" to "set Steam as openxr runtime" and that's when I get the "removeUSBhelper.exe system error", and the "VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found". Googled everything and there is loads of advice but nothing works, see what the next DCS update brings. The reason I want to try pico connect is because in VD the game takes ages to load, and then ages to fill in textures in the module and then crashes when I press F10 for the map. Please move this to the relevant forum if it is not suitable here.

I have been using the new Pico connect for my driving sims, as VD doesn't like F1 23 and it runs as good as VD and the colours are better, so I tried Pico connect with DCS world, the problem I am having is ST works in VR but looks shocking, and MT will not start in VR at all. The errors are msvcp140.dll missing, and usbhelper.exe. So is there something in ST that is not in MT ?. Same with F1 22, works great with VD but F1 23 doesn't.

No files quarantined, no files flagged as malicious, and still no Afghanistan, or FC3. "DCS world, it's in the game"

I was just flying in the Hog, turned my view distance up to high because I couldn't even see Kandahar at 1,000 feet, DCS restarted to reset the settings and Afghanistan is gone. DCS world is becoming soul destroying. I am playing this less and less because it is just getting worse.
