Just installed both World 1.5 and 2.0. I have an ASUS G20 that comes with GTX 1080. Tried max out all sliders and found there is slight stutter when in external view, and some stutter when in cockpit view in World 1.5. Which settings should I dial back a little but yet have an excellent graphic setup? Thanks. Avio

I understand the rudders move when moving the ailerons due to the ARI feature. But shouldn't the rudders deflect to the left when ailerons are put in a left roll to counter adverse yaw to the right? At least that is what a GA plane does, though the F15 is certainly no GA :smilewink: Avio

I own a Warthog Hotas and wonder what is the stick curvature setting should be that best simulate closely the real control stick? I currently use setting of 20 for pitch and roll, and 20 for rudder. Feels kind of rather sensitive. Should it be other settings? Avio

Just gotten back to DCS after a long break from it. While it is good to know the F15C has gotten upgrade to PFM, I am a little confused over the degree of modelling of all its systems. Are all systems modelled to the same level of extensiveness and in-depth modelling as found on the A10C? Avio

So if I want the original default war theaters I would have to install World 1.5? I assume that would not conflict with World 2.0 right? Also, would I need to re-download and install my paid add-ons again? Thanks. Avio

Hello, I've just changed to a new PC and had just downloaded DCS 2.0 + some of my other paid add-ons, including NTTR. However, I noticed only the NTTR theater is available. How may I get back the other default theaters of war? Hope to hear some advice. Thanks. Avio

Tried installing over on a SSD but observed absolutely no difference. Same old micro stutters still evident. And I have a ASUS 4.2 Ghz OC and GTX680.

Thanks a lot WillBill. I did steps 1 and 2 but thought altitude data would have been captured. Didn't know that I've to manually transfer that altitude data over to the steerpoint. Will give it a try. Thanks again.

Thanks all. It seems the reticle is more visible only when in a steep bombing dive. No target altitude set. Just plain CCIP bombing run with MK82.

When rolling in for a CCIP attack, I am not able to see the CCIP reticle unless I go on a very steep dive. Even then, the warning staple already is showing even though I set to TRN turn away after drop bomb. Tried moving camera up and although I could see whole of HUD bottom, still no sight of the reticle until much later. I do not have track-IR. Any help appreciated.

Thanks fellows. BTW regarding the crash message "Cannot load debrief file" I found out that by deactivating ALL other modules such as Huey, BS, F86, etc, seems to help -- No more crashes after many hours of play. Could those modules be the cause?

A couple of days ago I had posted up about DCS crashing out with "Cannot Open Debrief File" together with crash logs after being asked for them, but now the post is nowhere in sight. May I know what happened to it? Thanks.

Thanks Yurgon. I just tried setting my Nvidia to Adaptive VSync (60 fps) and it seems to help. Also, fps gets affected when TGP and Maverick displays are turned on, dropping to 40+ at times. W/O that two, fps mostly stays at 60. But I only tested for like half hour. Not sure if it's going to hold up under longer play. The mission where there were heavy stutters previously were just simple one with only a few trucks added for targeting practice. Nothing intensive. BTW, I'm running on an ASUS ROG with 16 Gb ram and GTX680. Intel i7 O'clocked to 4.2 GHz. C-Drive is boot and runs on SSD. DCS on D-Drive, a HDD. Quite decent specs I would think. Had tried before installing DCS on C drive SSD but noticed no difference. I'm okay with occasional weird micro stutters, but really pissed with heavy stutters that look like a slide-show, no exaggeration. Read that turning off system Pagefile helps. Any opinion? Also, should I set affinity to turn off first Core (0 and 1) and just run from Cores 2, 3, 4? Also does setting A-10C MFCD displays to 512 instead of 1024 lose out much on eye candy or object definition? Thanks.

Coming back to DCS after many months of absence ... and feeling good ! I know this topic of stuttering in DCS has been beaten up many times, but I am now experience rather unpredictable stuttering while flying missions in A-10C. Some missions would be smooth as butter even after hours of flying, while some started stuttering just after minutes of game-time (can be quite bad till not playable). I just don't understand this irritating anomaly. Could it be that some unwanted processes started running in background? Is there any program out there that can help STOP all unnecessary background processes from running while I am running a program such as the DCS? Would greatly appreciate any advice. Thank You. Avio

Was trying to buy the Mi-8 which shows a discounted price but after adding to cart the price shown was the original price. Why is it that the discounted price was not used instead? I would like to buy but only under the discounted price.

Strangely this time round there aren't any .crash and .dmp files produced, only me.log and dcs.log. Previous crashes in the past (before this latest update) there were those files present.

Just updated DCS as well as latest Nvidia driver and now the game started crashing while trying to watch playback after a short flight in the Ka. Was okay before these updates. Any idea what could be the issue?

I think you folks are spot on ... ran a latest Nvidia driver update and the program seems to run fine now. Hope it stays that way. This forum is lucky to have you dedicated fellows around. Thanks a bunch !

Getting very annoying, makes me miss the good old FSX where I came from. Got a ton of payware add-ons there, A2A, Dodosim, FTX, ... gosh should I go back, or stick with DCS, which I've come to like so much. Still thinking of buying the Mi-8. But with those crashes (never happened before for the 2 - 3 years I've been flying the A-10C), it's getting very frustrating.

Here they are, zip in folder. Kindly help check. Now the crashes are getting worse, sometimes less than a minute into game. Can happen at any point, any moment. Done repairs, but no help. Ttt.zip
