It definitely feels like a bug. Noticed this some several patches back, when i used to fly more often in DCS, like maybe last couple of years. For today's session, just before it happened i noticed nose up trim did not seem to have much effect despite putting in much uptrim, then suddenly it just pitch up violently when about to flare. Something to do with rare latent delay in trim input?

After the most recent Nvidia patch i noticed 2.0 tuns much smoother than 1.5. Am able to fly at 100 fps over roof tops of casino area. In 1.5 only 40+ fps over city. Is this correct?

I am planning to do more flying in 2.0. Is this bug already known and scheduled for fixing anytime soon? Any work-around? Rather annoying.

In the World 2.0 NTTR map, whenever I tried default loading up A10C (at Mc Carran), a message about comm frequency 124 being incorrect and prevented mission from loading. Had to change the default frequency to the Mc Carran ATC then it would load. Is this a known issue? No such issue in World 1.5. Avio

My landing setup is always quite spot-on, so it is not that.

Anyone encountered sudden unexplained nose-up ballooning tendency on final approach just above rwy threshold? Definitely not ground-effect. Happens like about 1 out of 3 approaches sometimes. Also occasionally encountered sudden sinking near approach end ss if there is a microburst down gust. Weather set at clear. Noticed these issues from past versions and patches, on different computers. Avio

Tried them all but still the shimmering persist in the trees, buildings, fences, etc. Not very bad but visible from certain angles. Avio

Had tried some suggestions in this forum about setting graphics and even Nvidia Inspector but just didn't seem to be able to get rid of cockpit and terrain shimmering effect and occasional flashing of buildings, etc. Also, cockpit shadows sometimes show up jagged edges, even though my in-game graphic settings are mostly maxed out. Using GTX 1080. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks. Avio

Anyone knows how I may transfer all my TM Warthog HOTAS setting from World 1.5 to 2.0? I tried copying the Lua files over but it generated several errors. Any advice appreciated. Avio

Had searched the forum and tried various different in-game settings as well as Nvidia Inspector (latest version) settings but just didn't seem to be able to get rid of in-cockpit and terrain / objects shimmering. Anyone managed to get rid of these? Am able to get rather good FPS ranging from 40+ to 200, even with high in-game graphics settings. Avio

Is there any way to turn off shadows of trees without affecting shadows inside cockpit? Find them to be rather unnatural and unsightly. Ground terrain would look better without them I think. Avio

Before I re-install DCS into my current new PC, I was able to easily zoom in and out of the mission editor map using the mouse scroll wheel. But now after re-install on new PC, I am not able to zoom in or out with the scroll wheel. Also, dragging the map around need to use right mouse button. I remember it was left mouse button that drags map around, no? Any advice? Thanks. Avio

I had mapped the pinky button as my modifier but noticed that whenever a modifier assigned command key is pressed, the "unmodified" joystick button now becomes the modified button. I had to repeat press the modifier to return the button to its original state. Anyone else experienced this? Avio

On another related issue, I noticed the cockpit panel labels and texts seem kind of fuzzy and not very clear when viewed from a distance away. It only gets much clearer when zoomed in a lot closer. Any way to make the texts and labels clearer when viewed from a normal cockpit zoomed out setting? Avio

Any good simple missions for the F15C? Any way to randomly generate simple CAP or intercept missions whereby I can dictate how many bogies at specific theatres? Like it that way rather than I create one which gets too predictable. Avio

After some experimenting, it seems the snappiest, most precise setting is one without curve. With curve, trying to do a sharp 4-point roll is near impossible, whereas without one, roll stops when stick is back to neutral. Of course trade-off is control is now much more sensitive, which hopefully muscle memory could help eventually. Avio

Thanks folks. Tried dialling down some of the settings a little and getting about 45 fps over Batumi at roof-top level flying, and 100+ outside of town area. Guess I'll settle with that. Avio

Just installed both World 1.5 and 2.0. I have an ASUS G20 that comes with GTX 1080. Tried max out all sliders and found there is slight stutter when in external view, and some stutter when in cockpit view in World 1.5. Which settings should I dial back a little but yet have an excellent graphic setup? Thanks. Avio

I understand the rudders move when moving the ailerons due to the ARI feature. But shouldn't the rudders deflect to the left when ailerons are put in a left roll to counter adverse yaw to the right? At least that is what a GA plane does, though the F15 is certainly no GA :smilewink: Avio

I own a Warthog Hotas and wonder what is the stick curvature setting should be that best simulate closely the real control stick? I currently use setting of 20 for pitch and roll, and 20 for rudder. Feels kind of rather sensitive. Should it be other settings? Avio
