My day started pretty good when i found out that one of my long lost ps3 games was on sale for a buck on steam, Then I found out DCS modules were on sale! This has made my week. I picked up the Sabre, Huey, Mustang and CA. now I have all the modules I want, and probably shouldn't spend any money for a little while... Whens the 109 going on steam? :thumbup:

This was my first time attaching a picture to a thread, so if I did something wrong please tell me how to fix it! I was browsing some model plane websites, and I stumbled upon this. I thought it was fictional, but apparently a real Ukrainian Mercenary pilot named Igor Valenchenko used this weird paint scheme to bait in enemy fighters during the Democratic Republic of Congo's 1997 civil war. If birds are modeled, can you actually see them flying around, or is it just a random thing that can occur to your plane?

Ps4 got an update too. Looks like ps4 is caught up with pc now, and cross play is enabled. Also came out in North America. No more fake EU accounts to play!

I forgot I voted for this, I think I voted for the F-4 as the most fitting opposition, but out of all the planes on that list the F-16A is the one i'd like to see most. I wanna fly a viper!

I have it on ps3 and love it, But after the way GTA online went with its "shark cards" I swore i wouldn't give Rockstar any more money. Might pick it up pre-owned for the ps4 if I have money left over from my laptop though. EDIT: I rewatched the trailer fullscreen on youtube, and I must say, it looks A LOT better than it does on last gen Consoles. Its going slightly higher up the priority list now...

What if you stuck a PVC pipe on the top of your stick and ran some wires for the trigger? :joystick: I'm imagining laying the base on the floor in front of your desk. the added leverage would give you a little more precision I'd think? would make your hotas a bit harder to use unless you've got some good toe reflexes though! :lol:

But then what happens when one of those 200 planes get shot down? And it happens to be 150 Million Dollars per plane? Result: 199 planes, with 199 available for each role, as opposed to 599 planes, with 200 available for almost all roles, and 199 available for the other role. and what happens when more than one is shot down? your more greatly affected by the loss of less planes. Now i realise the f-35 is more advanced and less likely to get shot down, but hey, enemies get lucky, and accidents happen.

I've heard this a lot, and I know its true, but i'd rather have a laptop for school and mobility. I'm not expecting to run it at max settings, but if i can at least run it on any settings at a good 30+ fps i'll be happy. EDIT: Thanks chichlidfan, i didn't notice your post until after i wrote the first part.

My current pc isn't even close to running dcs, and i've had my eye on the Lenovo for awhile. It's specs are: Intel Core i7-4700MQ 2.4 GHz Processor 8 GB DDR3 RAM Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M SLI 1TB + 8GB SSHD I think it's good enough for dcs, but my knowledge on computers are really limited. Can someone confirm that this can run dcs at any settings? Thanks!
