According to the Wiki on the SU-27, the S model, which we have, didnt carry those. The Su-27sm carried those weapons. I just want to say that I stand corrected - The news in this little update by ED kinda explains the extended work time. They kept saying that they were doing the Advanced Flight Model (AFM) and now they said they are doing the Professional Flight Model (PFM) in this update (which I kinda guessed already from the update to the F-15c that was done but ED never really stated this I dont think). That is a greater depth into the flight model :D That makes me happy.

IM really happy they put that in there for us, but they pretty much just repeated what they said back in December of 2013...

To bad I'm not all that interested in WW2 aircraft. :(

I still have hope that we will be getting good news about this, the afm for the Su27 and a nice update for the poor neglected Mig29 in the 2.0 patch.

I was actually going off of this thread which was a quote from Matt saying that it was almost done back in December of 2013... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=117468 With your post it sounds like they are at the same spot in May as they were in December. I know tuning takes some time but maybe they should be a bit more detailed in what they have to tune here to give us a better idea of how long it will take.

Can you believe its almost been a year ago that the fine tuning of this has been going on and just missing the 1.2.7 update??? haha

If that's the case, then we need a full DCS Su25SM to go against the A-10C before we get anything else. Or hell a Cobra/Apache to go against the Ka-50.

I'd say pull the lines of code from the P-51 input and throw them in the TF-51 input file. That's what I would do.

Im excited for all of them. But if someone made the Yak-130... they would all be pushed down for that.

That thread was made in December or last year and from the looks of it, it's been I the works for a little bit of time. We'll EDGE is important, it'd be still nice to get something on this plane. Hell even updated SS of the exterior model of where it's at today would would be nice.

I know it will come at some point but it's just sad that they haven't even done an exterior model when all the other aircraft have a new exterior and 3D pit and most have the advanced flight model. The poor mig has none of that yet. I'm hoping we get some news on it soon and I know it takes a long time to do this stuff but having none of it is kinda lame. :( I'll just have to keep on waiting I guess.

I'm wondering why the neglect on the Mig29 here? It's the only plane to not have an updated exterior model even... Not gonna even guess when we we will see a new 3D pit for it. No news on it months and there is very little to even guess if or when we will see anything for this bird. Does Eagle Dynamics have some awesome plans coming up for this bird? Or will it forever be the neglected step child of the FC series? Makes me sad really as it is one of my favorite planes to fly.
