Is there a way to override the speedbrake going down on landing gear extension besides opening the speedbrake all the way down to landing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Reason why better throttle response with the speedbrake deployed just want the speedbrake to stay open when I command it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So the Swiss and the Fins have more updated Avionics than their USN and USMC cousins Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk And the Spaniards with the EF-18M Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
It’s weird because the Hawkins Book is mostly a picture book but it’s kinda weird that the F/A-18C for the USN and USMC is labeled as full glass UFCs I can understand foreign Hornets but Navy and Marine legacy Hornets? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
That’s what I thought until I saw pictures of Glass UFCs and I became confused I thought F/A-18Es and Fs had the glass UFC full Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
I thought Super Hornets had an all glass UFC I was looking at Duke Hawkins book and the photographs show an all glass UFC Did later Lots of the F/A-18C have all glass UFCs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Creating simple mission but lot of Air Assets and Convoys CBU97 near Roki pass for DCS Viper JSOW C near Roki pass for DCS Hornet 60 Air Assets and 70+ Armored Vehicles Allies besides own squadron Georgian MiG-19/21s and USAF A-10C IIs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Early JDAMs were Mk 84s with new fins and GPS Tail Kits the rest was MK84 On the mission I created there are 4 of them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As a pilot your always learning Be humble and learn there’s a lot of things the F-16 can do you just have to figure it out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Doing a CCRP mission with Mk 84s from a cold start Goal is to see how CCRP in the F-16 works and land in less than 8000 ft of Runway safely without crashing on Roll Out or hitting something expensive on rollout Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

IRL both terms are the same thing AAR is more precise but a real viper instructor can answer that I flew tankers and the KC-10A Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
AR is tricky you have to be stable and patient If you are stable in the precontact position chances are you’ll be stable in the contact position The 10 was weird that you need to make small movements in the opposite direction we call that action chopping wood if you put controls in the direction of roll drift you’ll become a giant slingshot and the IP (me) will freak out and get scared you are about to swap paint with another airplane Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
In the KC10 I put my feet flat and don’t touch the rudder pedals in flight The only time I put my feet on rudder pedals is taking off, taxiing and landing for crosswind control I use ailerons only to turn the plane in flight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Both terms are correct AR = Air Refueling AAR = Airborne Air Refueling Same Thing USAF loves acronyms Happy Flying Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ll try that tonight Release CBUs on less than 25 deg dive Good news I can stop safely in 7798 ft strip(Kobuleti) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Couple of things I figured out thanks to Real Life Viper Instructors 1) You can release CBUs in CCIP with Master Arm on only 2) The plane is smarter than you because you need to dive the plane a certain number of degrees for CCIP to work. In other words when diving the Viper in CCIP you will look like your gonna smack into the ground but a good pull up and plenty of altitude to spare will prevent you from becoming a statistic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Chucks guide says CCIP for CBUs I set up so at least I have a 40 deg Dive for CCIP to work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
So it’s a logic thing Good to know Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Curious if the real F-16 has that limit programmed or simulator only? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Good News Bombs Released No clue what I did before I think bad switch position damn you Master Arm Switch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
I’ll try it again maybe I forgot a switch position Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
That’s what I thought The B-1 had CBU-87/97 The only difference is what’s inside them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
I’m trying to take out an armored tank convoy consisting of T-90s and BTR-80s Chucks Guide says Master Switch Arm for CBU-87 and CCIP I do that for CBU-97 and the bombs won’t release til I put the Laser Switch to ARM What gives? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The 309 was once part of the 31 TFW at Homestead AFB FL The 31 FW is at Aviano with Triple Nickel (555 FS) and Nickel and Dime (510 FS) The 309FS is at Luke AFB flying the Block 25 F-16 Wild Ducks Forever Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My thought process is if you could figure out the Viper and/or Hornet you can figure out any FBW airplane like the Mirage 2000, JF-17, EF-2000 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Thanks I learn something new everyday I personally like the FBW of the Falcon not as twitchy or you get into PIO like the Hornet Don’t taxi to fast or use the NWS on landing or your viper goes off roading or you shear off the gear both bad It’s also more of a pilot’s airplane Don’t get me wrong I love the Hornet but the Falcon is also a module that is special ED has a great product with the Viper once all the reported bugs are resolved Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk So 2400 is a little excessive Aim for 1200 in the tanks?
