The most bang for the buck Anti Armor I found was the CBU97 and the SFW just CCRP in the vicinity of active tanks and let the bomblets do their thing Are there currently other weapons that can take out tanks and are unguided? On a side note the F-16C doesn’t carry Harpoons right now but CBU-97 work real good against Bulk Cargo Ships Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just for gamism I like the Viper be careful with NWS above 20 kts taxiing if you keep the inputs too long you’ll flip Also use gentle taps if you have NWS engaged during take off roll or landing same thing too much rudder input won’t end well Flight model needs some work but it’s good for new pilots that your not done flying until the plane comes to a complete Stop Fun fact after reading Semper Viper 1) The plane still wants to go flying as low as 105 kts 2) First flight of the F-16 was an accident. It was supposed to be a high speed taxi test but the plane got airborne Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A good pilot overcomes the limitations and makes the weapon deadly I know the DCS F-16 has a way to go but it’s doing good right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did I say how much I love the F-16 Yeah all the bugs are not worked out but the module to me right now is way better than my Falcon 4.0 days Landing the bird and roll out you still need to concentrate to avoid flipping or going off-roading both not good Anyway I digress the CCRP mode with the CBU-97 is devastating LGBs and Mavs are next Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Bug is a plane when you screw up the avionics it is a big mistake but it’s extremely rewarding if you do it right Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Bug is awesome and if they fix the F-16 that plane will be special also The F-16 is good not great yet Personally my two favorite planes Russia I like the Flanker and the Felon looks cool Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like the Bug I get into PIO but it’s pretty stable I just figured out AOA on Approach and Landing I was too fast had to get slower Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I understand Try the Harrier or Viggen Yes they are old school but it’s tough to fly well I personally got tired of MSFS and X-Plane Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A good complex DCS module is the Tomcat It’s old school but fun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you understand the avionics of a Hornet the Harrier Avionics is not too bad Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Like Florence201 said the ILS will uncage. Couple of tips from an old KC-10 driver that likes flying the Viper in DCS 1) The DCS:Vipers HUD is in True or I can't find the button to switch to MAG, the reason I say this is if you put RWY Heading without MAG Deviation you know that the ILS should be aligned to runway heading 2) Make sure the ILS works for that runway, a lot of terrains give you ILS course and frequency but it doesn't work yet maybe in the future 3) Give yourself room to stop. The Viper is one of the Trickiest planes to land. It's not impossible but you need to bring your A-Game till the Viper stops completely. Narrow wheel base, little speedbrakes, and wheel brakes that are best used for taxiing than landing rollout

You got a lot of good dogfighters in this thread Like they said there is no magic code but good energy management and seeing your opponent wins the fight The Hornet fights well down in the weeds but not so well up high Best is to force your opponent down low and when you have the shot take it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got the Harrier module and it is pure air to mud it could do air to air but the best is Aim-9M It is complete and comes with the tarawa and KC-130 and it is done for the most part I personally like the Hornet but the Harrier is pretty much complete Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know I’ll be patient but wow ED is thinking of it I’m still waiting patiently when Marianas Island becomes available so also Eurofighter and Mirage F1 if only a Rafale M becomes available from ED or 3rd Party I’ll die a happy man Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I saw an A-6 Intruder I want that and the Apache when it’s available That is awesome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

correct as-is E-Bracket broken during landing?
ruddy122 replied to Kenan's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
I like both the Hornet and the Viper I personally like both of them but they have some unique starting differences in DCS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
The next thing is knowing why it works Long story short and someone explained it beautifully on this thread is because opening the door to outside air means the fuel system is not pressurized and you can do it. You have to remember to close the door when done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

correct as-is E-Bracket broken during landing?
ruddy122 replied to Kenan's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
That’s a problem because of a lot of DCS:Viper pilots use AOA for approach and landing I thought they weren’t gonna touch the Viper until the Hornet is finished That’s weird Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
correct as-is E-Bracket broken during landing?
ruddy122 replied to Kenan's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
I haven’t flown the Viper since the last update since ED is focusing on the Hornet now The E bracket is confusing if you haven’t flown the Viper in a while In the Hornet the top of the bracket tells you you’re slow while the Viper says your fast Conversely the bottom of the bracket says your fast in a Hornet but slow in a Viper You probably aren’t slow enough to see an AOA change an F-16 instructor taught me this as a cross check for approach and landing it is 140 + 4kts for each thousand pounds of fuel you are carrying If you go for that target speed you will see the AOA move and your FPM will live in that Bracket. Remember to use throttle input to maintain that bracket Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

That’s what a British VC-10 pilot said and a lot of RAF guys said If you focus on the basket you will miss completely Focus on staying in position with the tanker if you are in the right position you should be in position for the basket Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought there was a button to override the Speedbrake I thought it was the gear that does it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They did this over Afghanistan the Hornet Get stabilized in Precontact behind the tanker 30 deg down 100 ft behind tanker Fly to the basket one to two knot closure Once in basket hold on for dear life and don’t go too low or you’ll snap of the probe or basket Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
