    DCS: F-5E!

Just poppin' in to say that I would really want the BST F-5E to be equipped with AN/APQ-159-1 model which had TV screen support for AGM-65s. Then we'll have a really cool and capable multirole.
  2. +1 Totally agree. Even just a small portion of ground units receiving this DM upgrade will make things so much more enjoyable.
  3. I agree. I find myself outgunned and outranged in the Abrams by ATGM firing Russian tanks in CA all the time.
  4. I vote for Mirage F1M only; heh.
  5. I wouldn't really prefer the ultra-large long-ranged transports like the An-22, C-17, etc. To me, they will be a huge waste in DCSW's small theaters. However, tactical airlifters and battlefield transports like the MV-22, C-27J, An-24/26/30/32, etc. will be very desirable in DCSW given that payload/troop transporting is properly implemented.
  6. Speaking of going big; here's my wishlist: Tu-22M3: - Good for unloading tons of ordnance - Isn't too long-ranged to be wasteful like using B-52 on a cross-city sortie - TV targeting system should be familiar in terms of practical use to us DCSers - Kh-22s! C-27J: - Agile tactical airlifter - Ability to land on unprepared strips, utility in short-range ops creates many possibilities within DCS World; should a cargo and load system be implemented Mi-26T: - Becuz huge helo
  7. Definitely get FC3 first. Get it along with the A-10C. It'll get you used to the two simplicity and complexity extremes in DCS. Prepare to spend weeks learning to fly and deploy every functionality present on the A-10C; but once you've done it, all other aircraft will be a piece of cake to learn. Or you can just be like me and buy every single module present out there when the next 70% off discount hits.
  8. Grab some F-14s from the boneyard (If not all of them have been shredded). Stick a Raytheon large diameter gimballed AESA on the front of them, give them HMCS, DAS, F-35 style cockpit and avionics as well as a Link-16 suite and maybe if possible, a FBW system with thrust vectoring. Problem solved. Hehe. :D
  9. Glad to join the club! Here's my first air to air kill: :D
  10. Many thanks to VEAO for the BAe Hawk!
  11. Yep; that's the first thing i tried; when that didn't work, I pressed Ctrl + Z to accelerate time, still nothing; then I proceeded to mash every button on the keyboard and discovered the that F11 airfield view still worked, but with absolutely nothing going on. Edit: Unpausing the track does correct the in-game time, but doesn't fix the issue of nothing happening in the track.
  12. Hi all. I've been experiencing this problem with ALL of my multiplayer tracks; DCS World only shows the F10 Map screen when a multiplayer track located at ..C:\user\Saved Games\DCS\Tracks\Multiplayer is played using the single player DCS World client. The F11 airfield view is also working but other than that, there are no aircraft, no objects and nothing taking place. I've also noticed that the tracks always start at 12:00 in game time no matter when the track is saved. Does anyone else have this problem? Edit: Following suggestions from previous posts, I've tried playing the track on another computer also running DCS World 1.2.11; still the same symptoms with the replay stuck at the F10 map view with absolutely nothing happening.
