missing evidence Question about sustained turn performance

Not at all, you're way too fast. The F-16 even arcs at 450+ The hornet should bleed at all airspeeds. It shouldnt arc like the viper maybe it will be fixed with the FM update -

CVW-8 is recruiting again! get in on the action with pilots with real world experience
-
so you contradict several real hornet pilots who flew the jet recently and then back it up with game experience classic

https://cvw-8.enjin.com/ https://discord.gg/8SAqZR CVW-8 is a Milsim lite Naval Air Wing comprised of two Tomcat and two Hornet Squadrons recreating the real world 2005-2006 CVW-8 cruise aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 in the DCS community. Our Mission: The Goal of CVW-8 is to have a group of consistent, competent pilots (and RIOs) that can organize into a working group to plan and execute a combat flight in a manner that reflects real world operations within the limits of DCS. Flights are to be start up to shut down in nature with a minimal amount of delay, confusion, and disorganization as possible. These objectives are achieved by replicating real life policies and procedures that work within the sim environment. gNQodim47Q4

Multiple pilots who have flown the legacy hornet recently commented that they only use it to spot bad weather.. quality is not good The 73 is probably a little better than whats in the video but not by much
-
Not true, it's not totally recommended, but its not due to the stabs hitting the deck.. Mover said he flared the legacy all the time

This never happened to me before in F-15s This is hornet specific but was moved out of the f-18 forum by a mod..

Been noticing a lot of this lately in MP. Often times, when firing an aamram at an enemy with a friendly nearby, if the enemy gets splashed before the missile arrives, the aamram will simply pickup a new target Is this behavior accurate? Shouldn't the 120C be datalinked? Due to this I carry two sparrows on the cheek stations

For some reason the Y axis on TDC slew is getting input from the throttle I've rebound with no effect https://imgur.com/a/ihmuwxA

Maddog and pitbull are two different things the behavior you're describing happens in visual mode

Is it just me or did the flight model change again?
dramabeats replied to Manuel_108's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Did this today with a centerline tank. Messed the break up a little but otherwise nothing has changed with this update -

I definitely don't need full mil during the 180 Maybe post a video so we can assess your technique -
I go to the FPAS page and hit the down arrow once by home. Changes it to "59" and it stops bothering me

Can someone upload the server file here so I can try it?

Real F/A-18 Pilot Tries DCS: F/A-18 - Part TWO
dramabeats replied to NineLine's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Yet, he has flown the plane and you haven't. Like the above poster said, flying the plane is a different animal in real life. -
A while back I read a comment in a thread saying that you have to be careful using 3 drop tanks in the hornet cause you could actually end up with LESS range than using 2 drop tanks if not configured correctly. My understanding is you had to triage the tanks by draining them separately. Is there a way to do this in the hornet if this is true?

uh... go idle on the throttle

What to Expect in the Next Hornet Open Beta Update (11/21?)

We don't have to wait for the FLIR system. They're actively working on IR mavs and will be released soon. They already work for the most part. -
[REPORTED] Deck Sliding Still an Issue
dramabeats replied to dramabeats's topic in Bugs and Problems
I slid sideways right into my wingman with my wheel chocks on (while rearming - this makes it worse) and the ship wasn't even going fast -
