So the description.lua file can override cockpit textures already in game withouth replacing the zipped file ...is it right?

Now just a question since I'm curios...maybe the answer could come in handy for someone else...is there any difference placing folder skin (including description.lua file and dds graphic files) into the CoreMods/Aircraft/{aircraft name}/Liveries just instead into the Bazar/Liveries/{Aircraft name} folder? Is there any reason for which we can add skins in two different DCS sub-folder?

Thanks for feedback joey45...it fixed the bundled ModelViewer issue. I saw that file before but, honestly, I didn't think it could fix the issue since in the batch file there is just a line pointing to the bin\Modelviewer.exe file...so I thought there was no difference then starting ModelViewer.exe from Windows Explorer....mah! Weird....

Sounds good...but the main issue...I don't understand where to select the skin....I mean, in the Bazar/Liveries/F-86F Sabre folder I have installed the Frecce Tricolori folder with description.lua file inside plus dds files, I have installed your great folder skin too, including its own description.lua and dds files inside ...but....there is no way to select my preferred skin while in game.... I now realized that selecting country I don't select skin. What am I missing?

One more question: what make me crazy is to understand how DCS recognize the correct skin I have selectred. I mean...to load the Frecce Tricolori skin, in the Fast Scenario DCS menu I selected Italy as country....but....if I read the description.lua file in the Frecce Tricolori folder I read: Can I select the skin somewhere while in game?

Thanks for head up luckybob9...but there is a doubt on my mind: - ModelViewer bundled version with the Simulator doesn't work (at least in my installation...did it three times), so the only way to run Modelviewer is toi install standalone. As standalone I can just install builds before 76639....so, I never will have to upgrade to new versions...for what are deployed latest builds? Is ed_api.dll missing file impossible to include in MV, is it a secret file?

What's wrong? - secon question is...I'm a bit confusing about how to add a skin into DCS. In this thread I read to put skin into CoreMods folder...in other threads there are other way to do that...any cohomprensive post to understand this? For example, in this thread the info are: place folder into the CoreMods/Aircraft folder. Why not in Bazar/liveries folder? Sorry for silly question..

What the hell! I tried several standalone ModelViewer installation....Always the same error: ed_api.dll missing. Evend ModelViewer.exe in DCS folder doesn't start! Is there anything working fine?

Sorry for the silly question...but I cannot find the Keys to open the radio chat to request ground power. Usually (A-10C) I use LAlt & Tn+ These have no effects in F-86 Cold start scenario (this is what I'm trying to play) Thanks for help

towsim I have a request about AriesWing. In my PC I have installed three DCS game. One vers. 1.2.9 (due to my team server version), a 1.2.10 and the Open Bets. I'm wondering if I can manage Aries installation for all the DCSs (DCS World Configurator and so on...). Thanks for feedback

SnowTiger, you have to run update manually since it seems that DCS runs update automatically just once per day. You should run the DCS_updater.exe file into your Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin folder
