How to upgrade Normandy 1944 to Normandy 2.0?
TWC_SLAG replied to Fsea's topic in DCS: Normandy 1944
DCS shows I have Normandy 2.0. But, I don’t see it listed as a choice when I want to, for instance, run a quick mission. Is it embedded in Normandy, or what? SLAG -
There is a book about the Lancaster called “Bomber” by Len Deighton that is a wonderful read. It’s fiction, but the author is an expert historian. He knows so much about the Lancaster and the Ju-88 nightfighter. I highly recommend it. Occasionally, I pick it up and just randomly open it and read for awhile.

Any plans to include a Vietnam era Essex with the F-8
TWC_SLAG replied to upyr1's topic in Magnitude 3 LLC
Also in the Med. I was on the Shangri-La in 1966-67, VFP-62, RF-8Gs -
I also watched the movie. I was very impressed with it. My only complaint is the movie changing directions and concentrating on the church school bombing, without mentioning the results of the attack on the Gestapo headquarters. There was a list at the movies end of civilians killed, but nothing about the RAF losses, or how many resistance fighters were killed or escaped. That being the purpose of the attack. I also fast forwarded a bit so I wouldn’t see the part in which the little girl finally drowned. The Mosquitoes were shown very well.

The T-45 doesn’t seem to be getting much love. No inputs in 2 months. I kind of like the plane. Are there any large problems or complaints that come to mind?

Landing my F-15 jet without wings
TWC_SLAG replied to Art of Simulation's topic in Screenshots and Videos
Not possible. If you could fly without the wings, they wouldn’t be necessary. You can only do it in DCS because it is an imperfect simulation. That BS story on the internet about an Israeli F-15 landing with one wing is a fake. -
I’m 78. I can’t wait that long. Get to work!

Set the flaps, set the trim, pull the stick full back to lock the tail wheel, advance the throttle, and hang on. It’s like driving a dragster.

I have Reshade installed correctly, and was able to get the FPS to show up. Anything else I try gives me a message about not having write permission. I seem to have loads of write permission. Any suggestions? Thanks

About #5, I haven’t downloaded this plane yet, so does this mean you can land on, but not launch from, a carrier?

If we get the Lancaster, it should be flying at night a lot. That would increase the need to get an AI JU-88 and/or bf-110 nightfighter and some Wild Boar 109’s and 190’s, to go after the Lancaster, then we would need an NF version of the Mosquito and/or Beaufighter. Am I right, or am I right?

You are right. I should have said video recording. I will take a look at daVinci, though. Thanks, -
It’s all in the title. Thanks,
