My first Stick was the Logitech Attack 3 it was made for both, right and left handed ppl. Well its not high quality and not that good for the A10 or other hardcore modules but I think that there arent that many high quality sticks for lefthanded people... Hey ronbo! Welcome to the forum and the sim community of DCS ;) Well Flamming cliffs 3 is a good thing to get started with the DCS planes and options. But FC3 has only planes without a clickable cockpit and that means that you make everything with the keyboard and your Joystick/HOTAS. If you want a "Hardcore-Simulation" than go for the other modules. But its really Hardcore to get started with all the controls and funktions :D But I think to get started again with flightsims I think its the best way to go. I can really recommend it! Hi, ich wollte fragen ob es auch eine Kategorie zum Thema Selber bauen von Hardware wie z.B. spezielle Dinge wie ein UFC oder Joystick und der gleichen hier auf ED Forums gibt? Habe bis jetzt mal so gut wie alles durchgekuckt und auch durch die Suchfunktion bisher nichts gefunden. (Hauptsächlich hab ich bei Reality unter PC Hardware and Related Software gesucht) Wäre toll wenn mir jemand einen Link schicken könnte falls sowas existiert. Schönen Abend noch :thumbup: Gruß

Here in Germany, I live in a sleepy village, near lake konstanz, some Civillian Choppers and maybe 5 military chopper (CH-53) fly - if they can fly at all :doh: :megalol: - above my location in a year. So I was a bit confused about the sound of the rotor noise. But after your explanation I got a bit smarter :thumbup: Many thanks to you guys out there where helicopters are that loud that they make the earth shake once in a while! :D Regards Griffon 26

Hey Pilots, yesterday I was working in my room and far Away I heard a really loud Chopper flying toward my house. As an interested human in Aviation I went outside and saw this pretty stucky chopper with koaxial rotors and the two rudders at the tail flying over me maybe 1600 feet over my head. I am sure it was a KA 32 like this one with the same skin (Red/White). The curious was the noise of the rotors. I cant describe the loudness but im sure you needed to scream that the guy 10 metres away from you was able to understand what you have said. Now I was thinking: If this chopper was built for military operations in the soviet union (ka 27) why is this rotor so dammn loud. I mean the enemy wasnt damaged hearing or? Or was he after he heard this chopper? :D Btw never saw/heard a chopper with koaxial before in real life. Is this normal? For help and some education I would be really thankful Regards and excuse the bad english pls :cry:

I cant assign the pinkie switch of the x52 as a Modifikator in the key bindings. Bug too?

the problem is, that it would be really difficult to filter out the "bad-Skins" with pornographic content or Skins with Swastikas and other stuff like this. In War Thunder its possible to make own skins too, but because of this problem they dont make them visible in puplic so I think that that could be a problem for ED too. But for sure it would be really cool to show your skins in MP! :) Regards

Whoops, well so my source blamed me :D But what is it then? Searched in google and found just those pics as sound barrier. But it would be still nice to get some visual effects like this which show whats going on in the air around your plane. So learned something new today! ok, will look closely to the cockpit vibrations. Yea, I think so too that after the release of EDGE those small things will be implementet (when its not already been) and so I wait and see what ED is going to make out of DCSW. Regards

Hey, the thing I miss a bit in DCS is the effect breaking the sound barrier. Some little visuals like this: and shakes in the cockpit would be great. Just my opinion, I dont notice some stuff like that in dcs. :joystick: Regards Griffon26

Hey folks, thx for the answers I wasnt able to answer the past few hours. Yes, I do. The things I open mostly are: Steam TrackIR SST profile for the Saitek x52 and pedals !!Maybe the musicplayer while building missions and test them.!! Things which are running always: Norton Logitech Gaming Software I´ll try the Steam repair option for DCS now if thats the same. EDIT: Steam found 84 faulty files!!! :noexpression: What do you mean with other bits and pieces? :huh: When I start DCS I dont get a window where i need to accept the administrator option so I dont think that it runs in it. System Specs are made with dxdiag (most things have been removed to save space: If someone want my full dxdiag notes pls pm me. Many thanks for the help! Ill try to minimize the open apps and see if this maybe solves the problem. Regards Griffon26

Hey pilots, since a few days my dcs world crashes without any reason. Nothing has been changed instead of adding the MFDs of the A10c on a second monitor. But that was a few weeks earlyer before the error appeared and didnt made any problems. In the moment im just flying the A10c in some trainings mission made by me. When I fly with fc3 everything seems ok. I got a crash report too but Im not wise enough about software crashes and so I dont know what I should do. If you need some hardware specs too pls tell me!
