What DirectX versions will DCS World 2 support? I was just wondering if DCS World 2 will still support DirectX 9.0c or 10? Because I see that ED is planning to do DirectX 11 support for it.

New flares?? Hello, so I've noticed that the flares in DCS (at least for me) started to look different: I am using the 1.2.14 Beta, though. So maybe it's because of it? I haven't played DCS in 3-4 months, but I clearly remember that the flares looked very differently - the smoke effect was really cool and wobbling :)

Yeah, that one. You have a selection of a few, but that one I like the most :) I'd recommend the Toby23's Low'n'Slow & Rocky's DTAC Trees for helicopter flying, though..

My 'Favs': 1. JTAC for Ka-50 Black Shark 2 2. Towns and Villages: Low 'n' slow 3. The Shkval and dirty window texture mod above :) 4. FARP textures! The default ones look like the metal floor in 'Quake' xDDDD 5/6. (Not a mod really) I've deleted my smokecloud.pfx in DCS World\Bazar\Effects\PFX (low, med and high) for no performance drops when flying low.. :))) And also changed the default FOV for my 'Numpad Enter' key to the one that you get when you jump in the cockpit and it automatically zooms out.

You may want to check if you have turned on these systems: EKRAN/HYDRAULICS POWER, ABRIS POWER, STANDBY ATTITUDE INDICATOR (SAI), K-041 SHKVAL POWER... Or you can check this amazing checklist by SDeath here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=35571&highlight=Black+Shark+Checklist I recommend you using it so that you don't forget anything and be able to make proper operations. Definitely both! :D The Combat Operations part is awesome, but learning to fly the aircraft is just as important. Besides, how can you ignore the amazing flight model that DCS has to offer?

Those are KMGU's. They are dispensers, not bombs. They're meant to stay on your wing.
