i would like to see a P51-A with Allison engine or a P51-B/C

a) is correct, i see. b) is nonsense to do that in a dive. The plane (if not all planes) has to be trimmed from factory to nearly steady stable flight at for spit perhaps 220-250mph and perhaps 2500rpm and 4 boost; i could be more i dont know but in DCS the plane goes nose up at ANY trim positions in neutral; that´s a fault, imho. Since i noticed that the huge elevator range is more a downside than a positive feature in that model I fly now with only 60% of elevator range and it does very well and smooth ;-) I dont need more because even at high speed the 100% only let you fast black out or wing braking... I will do the same with rudder which is much to sensitive too, imho. reduced braking is´nt a problem yet but i will see. I know a short PC-Flightstick with only 1/4 or less movement than a original Flightstick in a cockpit is the main reason for hectic unsteady inputs and movements; that was always a problem.

I noticed now the trim action off the elevator trim is opposite to the trim gauge in cockpit !!! When you move trimwheel forward your gauge shows nose down which should be OK so far....unless you are looking to your elevator Frise trim which are moved in the wrong direction....for nose UP !

i have no problem with any plane or chopper but i say the stock elevator trim of the DCS Spit is wrong due to it´s constantly node up trim even when trimming full nose down ! Ans what i mentioned before that any plane designer did create his plane for a steady flight for a given speed, power and altitude you can read it in DCS´s Spitfire manual yourself at page 141 "level flight" : " 6. The aircraft is easily balanced by trimmers on the entire diapason of horizontal flight. An aircraft properly configured may be left to fly uninterrupted without pilot intervention." This isn´t possible at all with the DCS´s Spit ! DCS Spit get nose up with neutral stick and full elevator trim down !! When you fly level look behind; youe elevators are more or less downwards still putting force to your stick ! It´s a easy thing to fix; but you have to agree that the plane is stockwise bad trimmed or at least the trim adjustment range is much to less effective ! I suggest to fix that and give us a trimmed plane as written here in DCS Spitfire manual: page 143: "Before performing aerobatic maneouvers, first balance the aircraft by its trimmers at an IAS of 200mph."

Nope ! All plane designer and manufacturer try to make their planes flying straight with stick in neutral at a given speed, powersetting and height. The DCS Spitfire you can set power or speed or fly at any height.....it always goes nose up like hell and you cant trim it enough nose down for easy level flight ! The Spit was known to be easier in flight and more relaxing to its trim abilities than the 109 where the pilot always has to counteract with some rudder most time. In DCS the 109 is much better trimmed from Factory and easier and smooth to flight level than the Spit. Therefore and only therefore i did strange things with the axis settings and noticed that they give her to much inputrange which she does´nt need at all !

The Spit is completely out of elevator trim when you get in from DCS and even if you trim full nose down as i do this plane climbs suddenly up in the sky like hell in neutral. a straight flying is´nt possible even full trim down. Think they have to fix that nonsense. I uses now only saturation Y 50% of elevator range in the adjustment and 35% curvature for more flat curve. So i take off with boost 4 and trim full down and stick also full nose down ! While i have only 50% deflection the plane is much better and smooth in elevator control now and still you can fly very hard curves up to black out and wing losses. I uses this because i like to roll a while straight tail up along the runway; All Spits i saw yet did not a 3 point take off like you can do in the 190 nicely. Also i noticed the take off is much easier with flaps DOWN because these are the only effective things which brings your nose down without whobbling around!! The 190 and the 109 are for me easier with take off just because the spit is completely out of trim with elevator; btw. trim does´nt work enough to bring nose down for levelflight.

i have a air race mission on NEvada map and the K4 is the worst plane in that ! It´s not that slow but you always have to trim that beast nose up like hell otherwise the pilot seems unable to pull the stick backwards enough to fly around the pylons at 580km/h ! It´s always the same in Sim´s with the 109; they read about the higher stickforce on high speeds or diving and prgram it down to sealevel speeds; lol. 190D9 and P51 are so much easier with the elevator.

So fertig laden....wahnsinn ,haha. Muss Luzifer recht geben; Auch ohne SSD läd das kaum langsamer als DCS1 muss ich sagen, auch Online gehts gut. 16GB Ram sind da wichtiger und ich kann jetzt meine Heizung im Zimmer glatt abstellen :D Dat Dingen läuft auf graf. max. Einstellungen 1920x1ß80 mit mittl. VErkehr und KEINE flachen Schatten wirklich ordentlich und nicht schlechter als DCS1. Klar im Tiefflug über die Stadt gehts auch mal runter auf 27fps aber selbst da schön stabil und flüssig. Habe vsync immer an und daher oft über 40-60fps. Sieht scho geil aus aber ich habe auch keine schnellen jets, sondern "nur" Propellermaschinen und Heli. Was mir nicht gefällt ist, das ich anscheinen mit den Bordwaffen gar keine Auto´s oder sonstwas zerstören kann ? Hab da mal auf diese NASCAR Rennflitzer (sehr geil :D) geballert aber nix passiert. Was mich nach wie vor ankotzt ist das die es nicht gebacken kriegen die Oberfläche neben der Landebahn mal etwas realistischer zu gestalten in Sachen Außenlandung. Also klar das ist Wüste aber dennoch man kann darif mit der 190 oder 109 nach wie vor eigentlich gar nicht aufsetzen....die runway ist weicher :D

Datei finden ?? Du brauchst nur im Startordner bei Programme unter Eagle Dynamics DCS2 Alpha auf "reparieren" klicken dann läuft der DL wieder ! Bin fertig....WIE GEIL das aussieht !!

also ich habe 16GB ram und das ding läuft genausogut wie DCS1; kaum ruckler wirklich fein, auch online soweit bis jetzt.

only 1 of the 20mm is shooting; hoped the fixed that. also landings outside runways are the same hard like in DCS1 ok its desert terrain but anyways, these hard dampers seems not very realistic.

ja hatte ich ja oben beschrieben, einfach auf reparieren gehen und dann läd die wieder von alleine weiter. Ich sehe sie seit 2Tagen auch nicht mehr im MM. schon komisch das Ganze.

Habe ja win7 auf ner SSD aber die ist fast voll schon vom Win7 und Office Pro. Hab nen I7 übertatktet, 16GB DDR3 und ne GTX680 Bisher zockte ich alles auf max. aber vermutl. wird bei DCS2 die große 1TB SATA HDD Platte der Bottleneck sein ? ok die Kiste is auch "schon" 3 Jahre alt.

Kann man denn eine externe SSD mittels USB3 auch nehmen ?

puuh bin ja nimmer ganz up to date aber habe gesehen, das ichg Win7 auf einer kleinen SSD SAMSUNG 840 series habe jedoch die Hauptplatte wo die ganzen Programme drauf sind eine Htachi HDS 721010CLA330 ist. naja, mal sehen ich kanns och nicht zocken es läd noch immer :D

Ich lade die seit Tagen ganz offiziel über Modulmanager runter und werde morgen Abend fertig sein. Musste immer mal neu starten und seit dem stand von etwa 12GB fehlt die NEVADA in dem Modulmanager. Kann ich machen was ich will die erscheint nimmer da. Nun mach ich´s anders und lade über reparieren weiter runter. Mal sehen ob die wenn lles installiert ist wieder erscheint,lol.

lol, habt ihr denn alle die engl. installiert und nicht die deutsche ??? wie kann ich das umswitchen ? Und vor allem weiß ich jetzt gar nicht mehr warum es überhaupt die Unterscheidung zwischen P51sim und P51leicht bei den Controllereinstellungen gibt ?? Ich lad´immer noch runter....4ter Tag, an den Strom will ich gar net denken :-(

Habe die P51D und 109K4 über Modulmanager runtergeladen und alleshat geklappt. Jetzt habe ich gesehen das in den Controller Einstellungen jeweils bei P51Dsim und 109K4sim die Waffen und das Zielen fehlen! Bei P51Dleicht oder easy und 109K4leicht sind diese Rubriken aber da ! Liegt es daran das ich die NEvada noch nicht runtergeladen habe und aktiv ist ? Denke nicht.....im engl. Forum hat wohl keiner das Problem und einer vermutet es läge an der dt. Version ?

no they are´nt for me and i did look perhaps 10 times for it :-( I t lacks the last two: weapons and target i think dont know its german "Zielen". And i noticed its the same with the 109K4, too Perhaps because i havent installed Nevada yet ??? what to do now ????

Hi, after downloading my P51 i noticed that in the SIM version all the controls for weapons and the K14 sight are´nt there. In the P51 easy version the are all available . i´m not able to play because Nevada still has to load another 3days :-( So if somebody have the P51 pls test the weapons and gunsight in sim mode and report it here. At the 109K it seems all there so far.

kann mir jemand die Nevada auf nen 32GB Stick zeihen oder DVD ´s brennen ? Ich zieh hier immer noch mit 19,2kb/s das 2.6.4.30 Update und habe nichmal die Hälfte runter. Nevada dauert dann wohl 9 Tage :-( Mist, jetzt hat er bei kanpp 3GB download festgesteckt und ich habe nach ner halben std dann abgebrochen.....dann wieder doppleklick auf DCS2OpenAlpha und nun läd er plötzlich das nächste Update 2.6.5.31 mit 560MB. Das kann doch alles nix werden oder ?

Wie soll ich denn da 25GB alleine für´s Terrain laden....kann ich das nicht von jemandem separat draufspielen ? Also das eine DVD zu teuer sei ist lächerlich denn die Module haben alle ihren Preis und man hätte die DVD´s sicher auch teurer verkaufen können wenn man die wenigstens anbieten würde !! Ich denke hier gehen doch einige KUnden endgültig weg.....zumal viele nicht nur das hier zocken und man TÄGLICH mit allenmöglichen Updates zugeschissen wird.

Hi, ich habe generell nur 768kB/s ! 1 Frage: Gibt es keine Möglichkeit DCS 2 und die NEvada auf DVD zu erhalten ??? 2Frage: Hate gelesen das DCS2 mal als "normales" update beim starten von DCS 1 geupdated wird . Ist das jetzt hinfällig oder kommt das noch irgendwann oder muss ich dieses DCS2 parallel installieren und 1 Woche runterladen? 3 Frage: Warum muss man die einzelnen Module so komisch über DOS Fenster und Befehlszeile installieren ???? Oder wird das alles noch einfacher ? Wird ie NEvada automatisch mitheruntergeladen oder wie kommt man da ran ? 4: Sollte ich warten ? thx. Ach und nochwas: Wenn ich von jemand anderem die Nevada runtergeladen bekäme und der mir das brennt oder auf stick macht, wie geht das dann installieren ? EInfach in Ordner rein ?

online i find my Mustang is still top notch against the 2 Hun Fighters ....dont fear about them if you stay fast. Problem could be a 190 and a 109 in a pair yes but only if you are alone and let them force you to go in a dogfight....otherwise go away search for other targets or wait for another P51. The 109 cant turn at all above 5000m and the 190 looses muuch power above 6000m. 109 has so much weak points yet like loosing wings, poor weaponry and if the host limit their available numbers at the base most of them end in a fireball at take off if not than perhaps at landing ....:D
