  1. Does anyone know of a link that shows the radio comms menu tree and each F-Key's options and suboptions? I may have to resort to memorizing everything :D
  2. Hello, DCS can benefit from some refinements aimed at improving the VR experience for those who use the technology. One of those refinements should be increasing the size of the radio comms menu tree text and moving it closer to the user's center view area so that we can choose our radio options with much more ease. While I am aware that there are some third party options out there which may or may not work, this is something for ED to address directly. VR is the future. Tiny text located off to the upper corner isn't easy to see nor read. Radio communications are too important not to address. Thank you for considering this idea!
  3. Thank you, Frusheen...What we really need is for ED to do the radio commands properly and give some love to us VR users. Bigger text, closer to the middle, slaved to head movement would be ideal.
  4. Does anyone have any advice for making the radio commands easier to access while using the Oculus? It's tough to say the least - they are really hard to read :/
  5. Someone wanted to know about A/A refueling with the Oculus. I gave it a go after not even attempting it for a hundred years (save the commetary, pls): [ame] [/ame] The Oculus should make it very easy to do, and with a bit of practice, my rusty skills will be polished.
  6. The Nevada map is really excellent (even on low as Frusheen has stated). It's a crusher on the Oculus, sadly. ED really should apply their talent towards implementing Asynchronous Time Warp and other optimizations for VR users.
  7. Yes, living under a rock, actually :smartass: I am looking forward to when it comes out, but I don't know where the tread is for it. I'd hope that our controller bindings will work if this is a separate DCS application. :joystick:
  8. What big DL?
  9. What is needed are fully interactive ("clickable") cockpits for all the planes that do not have them currently.
  10. or VRtoJoy now that it's possible to easily reset the VR in DCS :pilotfly:The three remappers I recommend are Joy2Key, SVMApper and Xpadder.
  11. It's JoyToKey: http://joytokey.net/en/ Works well. SVMapper will work with devices having greater than 32 buttons but I have not specifically tested it with DCS (though I'd assume it works).
  12. Joy2Key works nicely to remap a button to KP5 for purposes of recentering your VR view. I use it and it works.
  13. All of the planes would benefit from having a clickable cockpit. Any VR user knows this to be true, and non-VR users would benefit from it as well.
  14. No joy for me. I am considering remapping via SVMapper or xpadder as a workaround.
  15. Sry - It's the SU25T. My error. NTM: pls correct the mistaken title. TY.
  16. It was great to see new release notes and a new update today. TYVM ED. I fired up the SU25T training mission #1 to do some testing. Sadly, however, I can't manually start the engines when told to do so, even when pressing the correct buttons like instructed. The engines just won't fire up. I created a mission as well with the SU-25T for takeoff cold from the ramp and no joy there, either. It's not a big deal, but it's worth reporting for posterity.
  17. Two thumbs up - this is legit.

  19. Ok - thank you. I'll wait for ED to resolve this. I'm sure they're on it. Happy flying!
  20. Unticked it - still crashed at 100%.
  21. Here we go. Thank you for the help so far :) Logs.zip
  22. This is the exact problem I have. It gets to 100% and then takes a dump. I will post my log files soonest.
  23. Yes, thank you. can you give me where to find them?
  24. Ok - it goes and it took a full blown system redo to fix it. All updated to x.99 and it runs without trouble. HOWEVER, it crashes now when trying to fly. At least it starts...still cannot fly. Whatever you did in this latest update, please undo it.
  25. This gives me a lot of confidence. Thank you. I've scanned for rootkits, too. However, the odds of something in the bios are pretty low. Every other program runs fine, just DCS doesn't want to go. EDIT to add: commencing with "Syswipe" - this is not something I can tolerate! Let loose the cleansing!
