  1. I just got mine with the same 40% off. I'm sorry but I haven't experience this problem. I'm currently trying to figure out why I can't click or control the mouse while I'm wearing the headset. This happens regardless of the "use mouse" setting. It's quite painful to hold the HMD while looking at my monitor no navigate the menus.
  2. You need to delete views.lua then run "repair DCS World OpenBeta"
  3. This is a game-breaker for me. Zooming out to 140 Deg on a single monitor looks absolutely ridiculous. How can I get the modules to load again after modifying views.lua? Restoring original values doesn't seem to do it.
  4. I had the same problem. Deleting sweetfx worked.
  5. Haha, great story! I remember having my mind blown at the graphics from the intro.
  6. Here are the A-10C's TAD images; https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/274488/?sphrase_id=994407
  7. I suffer from an occasional ghost press but it's so rare that I haven't seen the need to buy a usb hub. A work-around is to add delayed key presses in the H.U.D. software. Now, I have to hold SW 2 for .3 sec before my gear comes down. Set it up by adding a 'New Advanced Command'. In the 'Press' row, add "Shift+G Shift+G". Quantize time to 0 and set a delay on the first shift to .3. It also works great if you map Eject to your hotas
  8. I run FTNIR with a 3 point hat and it works great. I think some people have been able to get it working with face tracking. You need even lighting and have your curves set so you don't have to move your head to much. I've been looking into this new technology coming out of the elite and dangerous community. https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=15316 It costs less then 10$. Uses a gyro like in a smart phone. If the software is ok then it looks like it could be the future.
  9. I was unaware that the x52 profiler allowed for that. I really hope the software gets update. shift modifiers would be very helpful.
  10. Sounds like it was an heat-seaking SAM. Stay above 10,000 Feet to avoid them. You have one option with the RWR; "Change RWR/SPO mode". This Filters out anything that is tracking you and will only show you contacts which have locked you and active radar homing missles (aim-120, r-77). So if you are not in combat, it will appear that your RWR is off.
  11. It's awesome. If you get on sale(70 80 % off), it will be 2 or 3$. Worth it
  12. T/O trim, if held for about a second, trims the elevators back in an ideal position for take off. It is not trim reset. It is basically the exact same function as 'trim up'. There is no trim reset on the 15. As for the keyboard controls, there was another tread somewhere were someone who insisted on using the keyboard was complaining about the update. I doubt the old functionality will be restored.
  13. I have taped foam on to the base of my x55 stick which raises my hand about an inch. This allows me to reach the weapon release and trim buttons without moving my hand. It would be nice to have a smaller castle hat. I really like having two rotaries right on my throttle thumb. In fighters I have them set to "zoom view' and 'radar elevation'. It's very nice if you get one that works:thumbup:
  14. Very cool. I didn't think aero-braking was used. It feels to me like the rear gear is to far behind the center of mass, forcing the nose down on touchdown. Time to go practice!
