Wenn man noch nie programmiert hat und auch sonst keine Erfahrungen dahingehend, dann ist ein DCS Modell wohl so ziemlich das ungünstigste Projekt das man sich aussuchen kann. Gerade wenn ich mir die durchweg anspruchsvolle Community anschaue. Deswegen glaube ich auch nicht das es mit einem angepassten Standardflugmodell getan wäre. Gerade bei solch einem geschichtsträchtigen Vogel wäre der Shitstorm kaum vorstellbar wenn da jemand mit was anderem als einem 1:1 Flugmodell um die Ecke käme. Ich denke viele unterschätzen den zeitlichen und, viel schlimmer, den finanziellen Aufwand den das mit sich bringt. Windkanaltests, Flugstunden echter (ehemaliger) Piloten, welche eventuell ihre Reisekosten etc erstattet haben möchten, Mass nehmen am Original, Lizenzgebühren, Bestechungsgelder um an Top Secret Unterlagen zu kommen usw usf... Ich weiss selbst nicht genau was da alles mit reinspielt aber mit meinen gegen 0 gehenden Programmierkenntnissen wäre das mit Sicherheit das letzte Projekt das ich mir aussuchen würde. Bei manchem kommen solche Einsichten eben erst später ;) MfG Ente

Die Einträge in der Registry zu löschen ist trotzdem einen Versuch wert. Ich glaube nicht das DCS die Keys woanders ablegt nur weil es über Steam statt als Standalone installiert wurde. Die Keys selbst lassen sich immer wieder über den Steamaccount abrufen. Ente

it needs a gpu. 3drender=false just disable the ingame rendering, not the need for a dx11 gpu. Is ur mate running dcs on that machine ? if so there is the possibility that they stick some sort of gpu in these machines and dont list it.

There is still no GPU. Without something that can render in DX11, DCS won't even start. GPU embedded in CPU is enough. We found a relative 'cheap' solution at http://www.hetzner.de in the Auctions Section. Be patient and it will get cheaper. Don't forget that you will need to rent WinOS which adds to the price.

Unter Umständen könnte ein nachinstallieren von Sprachpaketen inkl. Zeichensätzen Abhilfe schaffen. Wird nur schwierig die richtige Sprache auf Anhieb herauszufinden :D

49" @1080p here. I personally need a good distance to it. I think it would be ~80cm then flying. Surfing the net or gaming normal i just relax back with ~120cm distance to the display. For me thats just the right distance i cannot anymore count pixels and having the smaller display to the right in sight too. This thematic includes a lot of personal behaviour. I know people there my setup is simply to cinemalike. I guess anyone has to try a few things to get the best result for their own. Ente
