I did.
I did build a new system for it. :D
I am waiting now for a new GPU probarbly in 6 months.
I have now good framerates 60 - 90 FPS with settings pretty steep.
I can all things see clear in the cockpit and have further sharp view in the envirement.
It's a huge bump up from CV1 but it's reccomend to build a new system, for benefit of the possibilities of the reverb as long as Vulcan not launched in DCS.
Good luck! :D
PS See the differnce in my old and new system.
Nope and if the gain is to minimum to switch. Wait for the next generation probarbly in 6 months. Prediction of rumors less cost. 50 percent gain 50 percent lower energy use. But we must wait for further news. :D
Wauw!!!!! ED you’re the best, 30 percent of supercarrier and an additional 20 percent for the hornet owners!! Glad to have everything and stick with it! Bis, bis, bis! :D :D :D
Set pd in Dcs to 1.2 or 1.3 instead of 1.0. I couldn’t read the cockpit of the f16. Now its cristal clear. Lower other settings to get proper fps to play Dcs comfortable. :D pd is pixeldensity
Right-click on DCS desktop icon. The line that says "c:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS OpenBeta\DCS_updater.exe"
Replace DCS_updater.exe in Boneworks.exe
:D
Results enjoy sharpness with lower settings so higher fps with visuals from higher settings. Example I could barely read the f16 cockpit. Troubles reading is gone without fps drop.
Go to install directory and rightclick on the dcs updater and rename it to Boneworks.
Yes, The nvidia driver thinks it is boneworks and Releases the VRSS option. :D
Rename DCS_updater.exe in Boneworks.
C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS_updater
Open Nvidia configure screen
Go to 3d settings
Add profile Boneworks
Set Virtual Reality to Adaptive.
Edit the commandline path to Boneworks.exe
