I found that option at about 1AM last night after several hours of trying off the wall solutions. I was exasperated to say the least

I am planning on making a device similar to the one found here: http://www.instructables.com/id/The-NovaA-DIY-Oculus-Rift/ It would just use simple IR tracking and would essentially just mirror the main monitor through HDMI. The issue I'm having comes to the software side of things. The way I imagine going about it would be using Opentrack to track my headclip mounted to the goggles, and then have the goggles mirror my monitor that has the two images for the stereoscopic effect. The problem I'm having is getting DCS to display like that on my monitor. Can anyone tell me how to get this to work or why I'm an idiot for thinking it could?

I nominate Santi871 for their guide to the Su-27 and for being an amazing community member. EDIT: That is if you're still taking nominations

You can bring up taskmanager, and then right click the program and select "minimize". It forces it to close. EDIT: Not close, minimize. Sidenote: Mine always minimizes unless I start DCS while spotify is running. If I open spotify after DCS I can minimize just fine. It was this way with 1.2.xx and 1.5

I would love to give this as a git to a friend!

Does anybody know how to use this pod?

Have you guys thought about setting up a Patrion?

My bad! It's still overpriced though.

This PC is overpriced. Building a computer is very easy. Here is a part list that will run every game multiple times faster. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NjwVK8 This will run DCS like nothing you've ever seen. If you want to you can even add a second card for SLI in the future. Please don't buy that HP POS. It is purely overpriced. Even if you are inexperienced with computer building, youtube has tons of great tutorials. Plus it's a lot of fun and very rewarding! EDIT: If anyone has any suggestions or modifications to the parts list feel free to add them. I am not the most experienced at PC building and I am 100% certain that there are some improvements someone could make. BTW the graphics card in it is very under powered. I honestly can't believe they get away with selling a computer with those specs for that much. Can anyone tell me how the justify that price tag?

Quick tangent. Why can't we use binoculars in DCS. I would imagine for aircraft like the A-10A (maybe even the C), It would be a useful feature. Not on topic at all so sorry, I just had to say it.

16Gb wouldn't hurt. What is your preload distance at? This is the biggest impactor of RAM usage I think.
