Hi everybody, I have 2.5 installed and there is one issue that really annoys me and until it is solved (if it is solved by ED) (please understand that I do not want to debate about that), I plan to re-install 1.5.6 I would much appreciate if we could focus on these questions : 1) Is it possible to have DCS 2.5 and 1.5.6 on the same PC ? 2) I forgot : in 1.5.6 do I have to enter serial numbers for the modules or is it automatically managed through the user account? 3) Will I be able to continue to fly the Huey and Mi-8? Solved. I got the Super Carrier in the Mission Editor in the stable version.

Thank you for your fast and clear replies, much appreciated. Thanks for the tip for running DCS Open Beta in parallel to the stable version but for various reasons, I prefer to have one and only stable installation. So as I understand the Super Carrier is not available yet for the stable version?

Oh I see... Anyway money not 'lost' but invested for the 'war effort' until the module is released. I'm doing a little come-back to DCS after a 2 year absence, so I'm not aware of the latest news in details. Not all early access modules are restricted to Open Beta right? By the way, nice to see you again if you remember me.

Hi, I've just bought SuperCarrier and Syria. Syria is not showing in the module manager so I cannot install it. Maybe it is because it is Early Access, so only for Open Beta DCS? I'm running DCS 2.5.6 Stable. Otherwise I'll open a support ticket.

I don't know how to manipulate or fix dds file. So not easy for me. Additionally there is the problem on the 3rd party gauges. So I reverted to 2.5.3

I don't know how but you would first make sure that the "Pause Break" key works outside of DCS. Then check in DCS that it is not assigned to another function.

Salut BaD CrC :) Many thanks for taking time to post those materials. I am mostly interested in the 2nd video (360 degrees Black Shark Den UH-1H Huey Flight) because the pilot (and copilot?) speaks the checklist/actions/checks/readings. For simplification purpose, I have only one pilot speaking in my mission. See it as a prototype for testing the cockpit voice-over/trigger technology. I'm speaking for myself because Laivynas and his team who made the Oilfield campaign for the Mi-8 master the technology ;) So at this time my goal is to fix issues and polish a bit the voice-over for a Huey manned by one pilot. Later, I plan to do a voice-over with pilot/co-pilot and that's where the video comes into play. I don't have a good listening in english so I wonder if a native english speaker could make a written transcript of the conversation between the pilot and co-pilot in the video. I don't need it right now but I will sometimes in the future.

Guys, Follow rge75 closely, that guy is very dedicated to flying helos campaigns. As far as I know he completed all campaigns (both default and payware) on the Huey and Mi-8. ;)

Sgt_Baker, Thanks for the clarification for me. I understand now. Me too, I think that this utility/functionality should be built in DCS for all (complex) planes (with many MFD). Otherwise, if the utility is to be separate, it would be great if ED can help to simplify your task.
