  1. Hello guys , may i ask you how do you get the Radio chatter effect that was in one of your video posted in the SA-SIM page during Blue flag event . inthe video it shows TACVIEW screen with GCI giving you direction an all sounds have a chatter effect . how do you produce that . Thank you
  2. Thank you very much for clarifying some info but with that being aside do you think the AMRAAM version that we have in the game is somehow updated that it doesn't need loft or can we loft it before release of the missile? , and if that so to what angle should one loft before release? . Is it possible to use tacview to see the different or its not possible ?
  3. Im not talking about AGM -65 , im talking about the AMRAAM 120 , plus if lofting was used before on the AMRAAM why its not used anymore since the AMRAAM is still the same as far as i know maybe upgraded . Also how come no pilots of whom you asked had never heard of it or knew what you were talking about if it used to be a thing before.
  4. Are you saying that this is just written there but it was never used in the F16 or The AMRAAM in operation . Can you clarify .
  5. i dont fully understand you , are those not manual what i posted . they seem to be produced by LOCKHEED MARTIN . like i said im not fully aware of the F-16 documents. Have you looked at the attachment .
  6. here is a full copy of PART 1 and part 2 attached . F-16-MLU-Manual-Part-1.pdf F-16-MLU-Manual-Part-2.pdf
  7. I was reading in the F16 – MLU manual produced by Lockheed martin company part 2 . its a pilot guide for understanding the system of the aircraft .im no pilot im a structural engineer so maybe i misunderstood it but its mentioned in page 54 about adding the lofting Cue to the HUD while operating the AIM 120 . See attached F16 MLU.pdf
  8. In the F16 manual for the MLU it indicates adding the lofting angle indicator to the HUD while operating the AIM 120 . if lofting f no use to the AIM 120 why would the give the pilot indication to the lofting angle.
  9. Thats what i meant by asking about lofting if it does increase the missle range . I didnt mean by effectivness the missle hit on target or impact
  10. Just A question do the document manual gets updated as well , i remember there were some buttons and switches that were left in the manual for when its purpose is implemented. for example the IFF PANEL is it updated in the manual .
  11. In order to get the waypoints to work you have first to cycle through the NAV modes for one time . Meaning that keep clicking 1 till you see ils mode then click again to get back to Nav mode once this is done you will be able to cycle through the waypoints . Without doing this at the begining of every missio. The wyp will not cycle .i dont know if this a bug or not but this is how i do it all the time in the F15 .this is not somthing you do only in single player but although in multiplayer
  12. well my question was specific for the FC3 aircraft mainly the F15 . So its basically can we loft the AMRAAM 120 or the AIM 7 in the game to increase effectiveness or its not working in the game ??
  13. Does Lofting the missile before launch is implemented in the game , In another word would it increase its effectiveness if i loft the missile like in RL or its not working in the game? Thank you
  14. I really dont get why people all the time tend to compare real life aspects to simulated aspect to a full degree, meaning that you only have some limitation to compare the simulation to a real life plane . bottom line is you will never have a feeling of gravity and speed in a simulated game . in real world your body feel the gravity force and all other force which in return send signals to your brain to react accordingly . The topic creator can have the answer to his question very easily and with experiment . of course we all cant get our hand on a real jet to experience the feeling . BUT we all have cars . try to drive a car in a video game be it any racing game then go take your real car for a spin and try to do the same trick that you tried in the game . Do you feel the difference of driving in a real world . do you see the depth ? come back and tell me .
  15. i would like to register for round 6 blufor lonewolf callsign-- Simo preferred aircraft in order of preference-- f15- Mirage2000- A10C thank You in advance.
  16. First I would like to thank the People behind this awesome job it really gives a good feeling to playing DCS rather than just flying in complete boredom so really thank you. I wish ED should learn from you. Now i will give my 2 cent recommendation and feel free to discuss: 1- myself , like most of the other guys is not a member of a squadron so i join alone . during this weekend it was very hard to find any slot to Join while there was 10s of empty squadron slots during the whole weekend that were unused . so either get rid of the squadron slots or make more slots available for solo players. 2- and this point is really important , i suggest that instead of the pilot lives that we get per restart is to make a limited number of every aircraft for each airbase like a limited supply of aircraft , this number could be different for each airbase depending on how close and how strategic is the location of airbase to AO. that will make the commander and the team in general takes really good care of their limited assets and would want to do thier best to keep it alive . Also ( if possible ) those aircraft at airbases should be in the airfield during the whole game so if a team want to setup a strike package on enemy airbase to destroy their assets so that they can halt their attack or slow it down . that would give more tactical operation and it will make both team think about how to defend our main Bases from strike or even coordinates a CAP package all the time to keep an eye on sneaking striker that wants to come and destroy the Air assets instead of just people getting on the pilot seat and just flying dead on to the AO and not coordinating their attack. i dont know if my ideas can be implemented in the game or not but you guys feel free to discuss it . As for now i Really thank you guys for this server and i hope for the day ED will put a dynamic Campaign in their game
  17. I will speak of the F15 as far as i know and some of the experienced guys can correct me if im wrong. In the eagle there are 2 type of LOCK , TWS or RWS . In the first one if you are locked by an F15 operating in TWS you will not get a BUZZ tone of being locked . If the F15 launch a missile at you in that mode you will only get the Launch warning when the missile is at your door ( Pitpull) . In the other mode RWS if you are being locked by an F15 operating in the RWS mode (SST) you will get the Locked warning the minute you are being locked , If a missile is launched at you in SST im not sure you get the Launch warning right at launch time or at pitpull so im really looking on some of the guys answers on this one .
  18. Since someone has brought up my original post that I posted a year ago so I should clarify it. I believe it was a joystick issue because 2 months or so after I posted my question I ordered a Thrustmaster Warthog and to my surprise the input of the TMWH was so percsie that the problem disappeared BUT I would want to add that with the F15 when ever im applying Rudder to the aircraft it tends to Roll which only happens with the F15 , I tried the same with the mirage and the Rudder input never tend to roll the aircraft it only sway it sideway but with the F15 it rolls when I use the rudder . Im using a VBK t-Rudder MK-III so im sure im only using Rudder input and no roll input is being applied. So im wondering now if that how its with the F15 that Rudder control also apply some roll to the wing.
  19. how do you change waaypoints in the mirage , is there a button for it on the INS panel instead of ( Ctrl+` )
  20. A10-C question. Hello A10-C owners . I would like to get answer to couple questions . 1- Does the A10-C have a IDM ( improved data modem ) or data link . in another word can you share data with other A10-C pilots ? 2- Does it Have a Radar , like Air to air radar ? 3- If you played BMS falcon 4.33 how do you compare the A10-C to the F16 in terms of study level ( i know that they are both different role ) , I love the study level of the F16 is this the same . 4- If the answer is Yes to #( 3 ) does the A10 have up to date avionics or is it old avionics like the F15-C in FC3 ? Thank you very much in advacne
  21. how do you switch between one waypoint to the next waypoint in NAV mode ?
  22. as far as i know and someone can correct me that Cm is magnatic compass while the other one is the true compass i might be wrong though
  23. Oh so you can spot your deviation by the ADI but i can barely see a thing on the ADI plus it needs a manual for itself to understand this strange mirage ADI
  24. Yes i read the manual 2 times and i know the page you are referring to my question is ( maybe i didnt put it correctly ) how i can use the HSI to know the deviation , Like in the F15 you have a CDI needle that show you your deviation from a given course , from the deviation i can tell if im right or left of the course .
  25. As the title implies it , i need some help understanding the HSI needles in the Mirage . I've been flying the F15 so i know very well how the HSI work in Navigation with the CDI deviation needle and i can manage getting to the way point on the planned track . Now the HSI in the Mirage is different , at least to me . I've been trying to figure it out to no avail so i will explain my scenario and i hope someone can help. im flying on the NTTR map , i contact Creech ATC to inform inbound , I set the TACAN to (87x) and i set the ILS/VOR to ( 109.5 or 109.3 not sure since im at work now ) those are the given information to the RWY, I have the ILS navigation knob on NAV. I turn the HSI knob to TAC. the HSI wide needle show me the bearing to the airport . Now how do i use the narrow needle .
