Hey Gizzy, i gave your profile a try yesterday and it worked flawlessly , I though im obligated to tell you thank you for the effort and time you put in this so guys like me with little knowledge about programming can still enjoy the ability of a warthog hotas . you saved me hours of fiddling with TARGET . Hey Gizzy , do i have to start the profile with the bat file ,can i just double click the profile and then start DCS ?? If not , can i delete the 2 lines that start DCS and track ir in tha bat file and i start DCS and Track ir manually ?? also will it work with DCS 2.0

I think this is the one i will go with since it seems alot easier than messing around with TARGET . thanks for your help, i know ive been asking alot but its just im not as good as you guys with programming

Ya i was going to apply this one but the author of this script told me that it doesnt work with 1.5 or 2.0 so i couldn't use it . i think i will just have to suck it and learn how to use TARGET with all its complicated stuff , Can someone confirm if TARGET works with DCS 2.0 or no

i want the profiles for the f15 and SU 27 only since those are the only module i have can i just copy the F15 and su 27 folder inside the input folder or do i have to copy the whole folder . and if i copy the whole thing wouldn't that replace my Track ir ( i see a track ir folder inside )

As the title says does the F15 has an Infra red search and track like in the su-27??

i already looked at this ike 10 times trying t understand the map and i couldn't i even printed it at work and kept looking trying to figure out what is that and no luck

im flying the F15 and i want to configure the hotas to be able to use it on the F15 . my problem is that if use the TARGET software i dont know how to assign the axis for thrust inside the game option . :helpsmilie: The manual didn't say anything about how to asign the axis inside the game option after i make a profile . In theory the manual say that once you start TARGET the controller is virtually disconnected so i dont know how im suppose to assign the throttle lever for the thrust control . Another thing is that there are 2 axis for the thrust on the controller one is left and one is right which one should i assign for the thrust in the game or should i assign the right lever for the right engine and the left lever for the left engine . im sorry if im asking you too much question its just im a bit lost.

I thought that the switches on the throttle cant be used for flaps and gears .... my understanding is that the switch will remain in its position meaning that its like holding down a key on the keyboard. can i for example use the switch for gear up and gear down .. like if th switch is up the gear is up and if the switch is down the gear is down . I know you can do this in TARGET but i dont know how to use target and i dont have the time to understand it .

The paddle key is good as a quick modifier in a quick situation but The reason im asking if the switches can work as a permanent modifier is so that I can have one key serving more than one purpose. To elaborate more on that, an example I want to do is the hat switch ( POV ) on the joystick . I want to use this hat switch to control the Radar (TDC) during the phase of air to air engagement and during navigation flying or take off and landing I want to use it to control the landing gear, flaps and air brake. by using the toggle switch as a modifier I think i can achieve that, so I want to assign one toggle switch as a permanent modifier so that lets say when the toggle switch is in the Up position it will be air to air engagement in this phase the POV switch will control the radar TDC , If I flip the switch to the down position the POV hat will control the navigation phase ( air brake , landing gear , flaps ) , When I toggle the switch to the middle position then no modifier is pressed and the hat can be controlling something else like trim . That’s the idea I want to do. Someone can correct me on that if it’s possible or not?

the toggle switches on the warthog throttle can they be used as modifier in the control option?

this issue is fixed in DCS 2.0 , the model enlargement is no more visible just as with it off.

how would you map it with target i seem not to understand target very much can you also use the switchs for like the gear up and down and flaps

thats what i was thinking also dcs setting is very straight forward for me plus this TARGET software looks very difficult to deal with

i got a thrustmaster warthog hotas , i will use it to fly the F15 and su-27 mainly . while searching the forum i seen people talking about using TARGET software or some script , i really dont understand how to setup all these ? can't i just bind the key like any other joystick and is there a pre-configured setup for the F15 and how do i use it ?? thank you in advance

Hi everyone, i have a question regarding installing a new Video card in my PC, from what a i know is that DCS install record all the specs of your PC . so do i need to deactivate my Module ( i have bought 2 ) and then install the Video card then Reactivate them back?? Also if that's what i need to do , Do i lose all progress i achieved in the single player campaign and all my saves when i deactivate ? Thank you in advance for your help

That's assuring :) , no i think im done with this ATI bullsihit , i got a Nividia card yesterday after the Oculus Support team told me that the problem is with my ATI card.

Have anyone with ATI got the Rift working on his machine ?? and if so what Driver version are you running and what Card? The problem seems to be with the ATI Cards as Markeebo mentioned. Update: I've downloaded a game called war thunder , its a flying game, By native the game support the Oculus rift just Like DCS , all you do you check the option in the setting for oculus rift and start the game with the rift in extended mode. I started the war thunder game and it works fine although the resolution feels like 640 x 640 but thats another issue , So now the Oculus works with all games that supports the Rift ( I tried "Affected " , War thunder , and the Rift demo that comes with the utility ) they all works just fine, it is when i start DCS in Rift The oculus turn black screen although the LED light is blue and the tracking position LED is blue. Any one has any thoughts ???

:helpsmilie::helpsmilie: please guys somone help me please, i Got my Oculus Rift today , I Setup everything and installed the Run time software before connecting the Rift just as they direct you on the Oculus Rift website , I tried all the demo they work perfect , i also tried a game called Affected and its working great . My problem is DCS i followed all the steps mentioned for getting DCS to work , Rift is in extended mode, trun on DCS , it shows up on my main screen , when i( ALT +TAB) to put the Rift on primary it goes Black Screen. I have an ATI card ( 6900 ) there were people talking about that problem with ATI and they said to revert back to driver 14.4 which is what i did and still black screen not fixed. Please if anyone knows of a way to solve this issue i would appreciate the help.

Did you have to Ctrl+Alt + del to Disable the OVR service before you click fly or there is no need any more to do this like somebody just mentioned ??
