I had the same issue last month ( the inner gumball broke in half , check pics ) . i dont know how it happened since my joystick has been only used for a year and half, Anyway i contacted TM support and after exchanging too many emails with pics and parts numbers they told me w are sorry we dont have support in your Area ( i live in kuwait ) . im like what the hell , you sell your product internationally , you are not supposed to have support every where but duh thats what shipping company are there for. i can ship it to you lazy ass m***th F***r . so i contacted Amazon ( this where i got it from ) and sent them a copy of the emails of TM support. Guys let me get this straight to you regarding options in the graphics settings. If you want panels labels readable set Texture to High . that's the highest it can be with PD and zoom you can read mostly every thing written on the panels in front of you ( given that its text is big enough ). Cockpit resolution option has nothing to do with Reading labels of gauges its only for MFD and Radars and RWR .

is it possible for a change to run blue flag on NTTR map for at least one time . just for a change of map .

just disable windows defender permanently from the registry . your pc will be alot better with out it

In VR the F15 pilot position feels so awkward , I know i can adjust the pilot position by the RCtl Rshift + KB num but when i adjust the pilot position back to the correct location i lose part of the HUD information . The HUD then feels like its shaved . The other air frame dont have that problem , th Su 27 is perfect . Only the F15 feels so bad and it feels so uncomfortable . Is there a way to fix that

I wouldn't recommend using Oculus tray tool with DCS , it works with other games but with DCS leave it without it . Why you use the tray tool to begin with in DCS ??

Aside from what server you like to play or what air frame you wish to fly , But its really annoying when people diss the FC3 aircraft just because it has no clickable cockpit or because the work load is flushed out compared to other DCS level aircraft ( clickable ) . well the work load of course is much higher when you are preparing for take off lets say in M2000 compared to F15 , but once you are in the fight the work load should be the same if you know how to use your HOTAS . bottom line is an FC3 aircraft is no difference to clickable aircraft once you are in the air and into a fight ( im not talking about weapon , im talking about working the system and using ur Hotas and Keyboard) . Well if not VR why do you need to Alt tab. just bind the Overlay to any of your hotas button or any keyboard button of your choice . then while you are playing ingame just click the button the overlay should appear on top of your game window. once your done click the button again it should turn off .

Are you speaking of alt tabbing while you are in VR or you mean in general ? because if not VR you dont really need to alt tab you can just toggle th overlay on and off and it will show always on top of your game windows. VR is a different hassle because you have to take the headset off every time you want ti change the frequency in FC3 planes

ya , it depends on the cloud settings. Cloud is the main FPS eater in VR now . Run the same mission but with the lowest cloud settings and you will see the difference.

The cockpit resolution whether 512 or 1024 doesn't affect the gauges clarity, The gauges reading is affected by PD . the cockpit resolution 512-1024 only affects radar screen or RWR or MFCD . So for example the Radar screen of F15 or the HDD of the SU 27 . That being said the gauges clearness can be increased by increasing the Pixel density only . at PD 1.5 is the sweet spot , Any more and you wont notice a difference in clarity, At least for the eyes.

Air Refueling should be alot easier , it will take a bit of practice but the immersion makes it alot easier . if you would like i can join you as well and train on the air refueling . let me know what time you will do it . i usually do it on the 104th

the cockpit resolution settings affect the instruments scopes such as Radar Scope or MFCD or RWR. So if you fly the F15 or Su27 or A10 and you want those scopes readable its best to keep it on 1024 . i tried both 512 and 1024 and 512 is unreadable for me . you dont need it to be set on every frame such as "1024 every frame" if you set it on that it means that the game will render them even if you are not looking at them , you only need the game to render them when you are looking at them

i understand what you are describing , im having the same problem in the M2K . i looked in the settings in order to find a way to turn that off but i couldn't find any thing . i hope anyone would be able to help because its really annoying .

yes you can do that in the F 15 , i think its controlled by Lshift + B or similar you would have to check the control settings

You really dont need to take off your Rift to operate the radio. Now the radio menu can be selected simply by mouse , All you have to do is assign the radio menu button (/) to any unused button in your hotas then you can use the mouse to chose any radio order or menu etc ..

Information on air to air refueling from (the Allied Tactical Publication – 56(B) - Air to Air Refueling ) indicates that the F15 optimum refueling speed is at 315 IAS. im not saying it cant be done at lets say 200 . i personally can and i did twice on the AO server . they have one tanker ( Texaco ) for A10 which is flying at 200 . i could connect and take full load of fuel. but its alot easier when its at 300 See attached . page # 256 edit: i forgot to mention also that in VR you can assign the Zoom function to one of the hotas button that case u can zoom quick at the light to see where is your reference . i personally dont zoom because i can see the light in VR . what is your PD set to AAR info.rar

i still can read it well with 1.5 PD . as i said that slight difference dont justify the drop in performance you get with PD set to 2.0 well that is my opinion anyway . as long as you can run 2 pd with no problem its okay . i play only MP and with pd set to 2.0 on MP its unplayable what so ever

i used to run 2.0 , i tried 1.9, 1.8 1.7 i didn't see a difference at all . i now run at 1.5 and with the gain in performance i could crank up some of the graphics setting such as texture and MSAA . my eyes cant notice any difference between 1.5 and 2.0 . and even if there is a slight difference it doesn't justify it with the performance hit that i encountered .

you shouldn't be air fueling the F15 at 200 knots and expect it to be an easy task. Air refueling the F15 in the game should be done between 300 and 350 knots . set the tanker speed to say 325 and try it it should be alot easier . You should keep on practicing , it used to be very frustrating task to me and i could never connect to the tanker and maintain full fuel . now its very easy after lots of hours practicing.
