I don't care whatever modification or how close to RL they make VRS Superhornet, its still flying in FSX. Comparing 2 aircrafts is a one thing and comparing 2 different simulation engines is another thing. - DCS can simulate true to real life warzone with armor, infantry, gunships, ships, frigates, carriers, bombers, fighter aircraft fighting, destroying, communicating and cooperating with each other. - FSX can simulate almost true to RL airport and airspace Civil traffic environment. One thing I give to FSX here is the fact that air navaids are more advanced from DCS... don't worry, the tide will turn eventually. - A-10C's true to real life simply because the producers and dev team have classified documents and RL pilots provided by U.S. Airforce to help produce the sim by signing contracts. (I wonder how much money both sides paid those lawyers to prepare the contracts) - VRS got info on the superhornet how? I don't think the U.S. Navy is giving away classified material for VRS to simulate their Superhornet without a contract. The fact that RL hornet pilots found it realistic enough doesn't mean much to me. And the graphics.. Yeah FSX graphics are good and the strong area of its looks is the terrain. Can it simulate a real battlefield like DCS?? No.. FSX is an aircraft museum. Mower will take care the rest.. he's a big FSX fan :P:D edit: Even with the Tacpack I don't thing it will make much difference.. only more features to play around with.

I've download 4-5 addons for Arma2 OA including the CBA and Extended Events Handler mod. I know very well how to install mods in Arma2, really simple actually, but when I run the game a message pops up with the warning that CAWeapons3 is missing. Also that message keeps interfering with the gameplay. I looked all day today at bi-forums, armaholic forums and God only knows which other forums I looked into with no CLEAR response whatsoever from anybody. In fact I found a thread where somebody requested help at finding this file and instead they closed (didn't move it) the thread because it was in the wrong section. Anyhow... to sum up. Does anybody know where I could find this file? :helpsmilie:

It has to be sooner than that.. the world "ends" in 2012 according to the Aztec Sun Stone calendar :P -
 That is the result of thinking outside of the box :D

Any chance to add proper maintenance, procedures and handling of the TF34-GE-100A in the manual? P.S. Also a bit offtopic (nothing to do with DCS, its about the real A-10C), do you guys have any clues weather the A-10C fleet will upgrade their engines to the TF34-GE-100B?

Just read the conversation with the ground crew :megalol: -
What happened to the gold front canopy?

I'll never buy that. Thats how the MME are making money. And the fact that the story was reported and written directly by a reporter who does not have any tangible evidence for her story than just an interview "from a local who was shot by Americans". (Lindsey Hilsum? just look at what she's doing to get some more bonus in her pocket). If the press does not show tangible facts then is a bunch of camp fire/hollywood stories intended to rise up their spectacularity.

Another "I want this aircraft because I had dreamed it last night" thread. Thats exactly what this forum needs. And to contribute: Its F-16C (I saw it in my dreams last night :P) -
Something like FarCry 2 if you played it before you know what I mean:lol: :P

Fear not! A new patch (1.1.0.7 or 1.1.0.8) is around the corner.

AH-64 or Mi-24... ANY variant will do.

I don't know what's going on in US but in Europe people are actually pissed off about this nuclear event. In Germany there are a lot of protests that have resumed their actions following the events in Japan and Turkey wants to built a new Nuclear reactor south near the Med sea and some countries are already opposing this idea requesting a veto. Its all political though...

It won't make everybody happy. I want a DCS F/A-18 because there won't be other F/A-18s sims like DCS... simple as that. If you tried A-10C and Ka-50 you know what I'm talking about. Those who also own a TM Warthog also know how realistic it is because they don't get to touch the keyboard from the minute the sim starts till you exit.

I don't see any problem. Almost everything you described is a natural behavior of the sim. Your turn Nosewheel steering ON before you taxi and you turn it OFF once you reach 50 knots while you're rolling for takeoff. If you still drift (by a lot), a lot of factors could accomplish something like that: Your flightstick is not properly calibrated from Windows, you didn't press the takeoff trim button on the SAS panel, and there's a LOT of crosswind. Is there something else that caused this behavior?

I can only think 1 reason to built them in that area. Uranium fuel needs recycling, and those factories (or just one factory) that produce recycled fuel are in proximity off all stations. 95% of nuclear waste can be recycled, 5% can be dumped in sea. I could be talking nonsense. But only the Japanese government really knows whats happening. The press are making their own theories and stories. P.S. Also the sea water is a good reason for cooling, but Japan is made of thousands of islands... so that's not a valid reason. Being "near" Tokyo is another cost efficient reason to be built there?

Key mapping is different in game mode from sim mode.
