Hi all, I don't exactly feel like spitting through tons of pages, and the search option doesn't work correctly for me for some reason, has anything been said about the armament we will get with this beauty in DCS?

This would eventually end up with the F/A-18 on blue, Typhoon on blue, etc. And this would make everybody only play blue because they want to play with their new toys. In the meanwhile, red is stuck with the FC3 aircraft. That won't work. No one will play red anymore

DCS logic: Some rebel group is holding a camp in the middle of a forest, but they somehow got their hands on 3 SA-6 sites, a couple SA-3's 10 SA-8's, several shilka's, couple strelas and over 20 manpads....... ...... And an early warning system. "GG A-10 pilots, go kill 'm!"

This is what I'm waiting for, as a hog driver I'd love to work together with a Mirage, my TGP beautifully outputs coordinates my Mirage wingman could enter, and he might be able to get in a position my hog won't reach (like 40k feet) and drop the bomb while I guide it for him while flying in a safe position. I see this as a possible way to take out medium range SAM's

I can't listen to the cast because of poor internet, but what did they say? If I read the topic like this it sounds like they said they're gonna cut down the time one should wait? Can someone tell me in short what they said? If time is going to be cut down... Well, that's disappointing. I like full realism.

Are you serious? I've been putting my Flanker in all kinds of angles, hoping to detect targets better by pointing my nose in different directions, but this doesn't help with FC3 aircraft? Oh wow...

You should sling load the A-10, just hover the A-10 above target and let it drop a guided bomb.

I do not have the m2k, but 4 min aligning doesn't sound long at all. Get in plane, turn on batteries, start alignment, start the engine, admire the view.. And let's go! 8 min does sound kinda long, but can someone tell me how long it could take and how big the chance is that INS goes inaccurate?

I don't think they can call this stable. A game that needs more than 4gb RAM for just idling at the main menu is just sad.

Lol I switched to standalone specifically because I was getting tired of waiting for modules to come over to steam.

Cool, I'll do that. Can't get the Mirage on Steam. I can just buy the modules I want, that are available on Steam using Steam (iDeal payment method) and activate them on standalone, and get the E-Store goodies without a problem. (Using PayPal)

So if I am correct, if I unbind the module (which is activated and flyable) from my steam installation, and thus uninstall DCS World for Steam, and bind it to my ED account, I will no longer be able to use the module on Steam but it will be for Standalone. Once it's unbinded from my Steam account, I can bind it to my friends account, and he can download it in the module manager? If this information is correct, i'll just unbind everything from my steam account and move to the standalone version of DCS.

The key is not bounded to my account, keys from steam are not binded to your DCS account I suppose?

As in "giving away as a gift" That means, me uninstalling my module and giving the key to my friend and say "Suprise! Have fun!" or am I doing this wrong?

I have a module I no longer play, ever. The activation key used to activate the module the first time you launch it... If I deactivate it on my PC, can my friend use the key to activate the module, so he can play it? I mean as in, he downloads the module from the E-Store, and activates it with my key. su-24 is cool, would be the first bomber to make it into DCS, and be playable!

Oh is it that bad? Damn. Haven't played with the AWACS for a long time, last time I used it (back in 1.2.16) it worked fine. I guess we'll see that fixed at some point :) But just as a question, the m2kc model we have, does NOT have the capability to see what type aircraft she has locked on her radar? It would be quite a surprise to me if it actually has, considering it isn't the newest plane ever made.
