How do you think about this LANTIRN tgp? I seriously hope LN puts it in, but I'm not sure if they were there already in early to mid 90's

It should run yea, but nobody knows how compatible it is with the existing translators.

If I find a Mac, I'll try to get DCS 1.5 running and see how well it does. Linux... I don't know, barely anybody uses it for gaming purposes.

For me, getting the LANTIRN and guided bombs is more important than IRST. IRST is fun and cool, but I don't "need" it as much.

Yeah that's right. But it would be nice if I could turn it on the second the missile gets launched, and turn it off again when the missile is defeated. Right now I'm just spamming this key because it stops jamming when lock is broken. The radar SAM relocks and the missile starts guiding towards me again. I've studied this behaviour against some common SAM's like SA-8, SA-11, and constantly hitting that jammer button disrupts the missile's guidance, but in the second delay before I turn on my jammer again the missile quickly guides normally again and targets me again. Just mashing that jammer button quite easily defeats the missiles when they are shot from further distances, so it would be cool if I could just keep the jammer operating while the missile is in flight.

2 seconds delay could be catastrophic. It would make weapon launching out of sync, make people shoot missiles seemingly from impossible angles and seemingly without proper lock. For a startup procedure it wouldn't matter, but in combat it does.

Yea lol. My wingman in KA-50 fired a Vikhr at Shilka and it said he killed me with a Vikhr.. My helicopter was fine [emoji14]

Is there any place I can look where the server is online, and see when it's going offline and why, because almost everytime I look at the website it says server online, and shows a list of people in the server. But when I launch DCS the server is nowhere to be found...

How many bombs can the F14 haul in a single run Max? The F/A-18 can like 8 This amount of bombs won't work for a carrier takeoff probably, but just as a question.

Hi, not sure if I'm wrong, but right now when we have captured another airfield no new spawn options seem to come available. Have I missed something or am I doing something wrong? The closest I can seem to spawn with the A-10 is at Maykop. I'll fly from Maykop to Sochi/Gudauta, no problem. But when we have capped those, and we want to advance further south to Senaki/Kobuleti/Batumi, it really start to become really long flights. Previously you could spawn on Sochi if you would have capped it, and other closer airfields. I can't seem to find this option in the current 1.5 version.

Engine explosion? That's something that doesn't happen a lot!

Also another Chinese 747 broke up years after an incorrectly repaired tail strike. What could have happened to this a320, hope the tailstrike wasn't the cause.. If it was.... Loss of cabin pressure? Loss of hydraulics? Loss of vertical stabiliser? The last one seems the least likely to me.

True, but without an RWR I won't even known the F15 is close. I can't really say the visibility out of the tiny windows is really great. Against radar SAMS flying slow works very well. They rarely even target me when I'm hovering, surface-to-air threats aren't that bad if you watch where you fly and fly slowly and stealthy, air-to-air threats are the most dangerous IMO

Haha I thought I was the the only one that sometimes got annoyed by this. Ah well, it's such a small thing... Leave it like that, it's not worth the effort removing it :)

... Maybe with an option to enable or disable it for your own aircraft? :)
