I'm sorry, I meant doing the flight engineer's task myself, I did not mean that the AI flight engineer is doing his job, but when multiplayer multicrew is realised that someone else does the flight engineer's job. So a tutorial in how to manually fine tune the autopilot without help of the virtual flight engineer would be cool.

Thanks, And multicrew sounds amazing, didn't know it was planned! Just as a question, is there any way I can learn the job the virtual flight engineer is doing right now? I mean... Manually fine tuning the autopilot. I think it'll become relevant once multicrew gets realised :D

Yea it is. People don't seem to understand that the DCS team doesn't work in a strict deadline like larger industries like EA and Activision and such. It'll be ready when it is ready :)

Is your server private? If so, try setting it to "public server" but with a password. Without it my server won't launch either.

I knew that this mig crashed, but never knew it was recovered and repaired.

For my private server I use a HD6570, no issues here whatsoever, except for the RAM slowly climbing until crash.

Tornado GR4 is amazing, but I don't think it's possible, I think most of it is classified including lots of the weapons. I'm sorry, I don't want a very stripped down version of the GR4. My vote goes for the F16C

seems to break when someone enters a Combined Arms vehicle. That's the only time the scoreboard breaks when playing my private server,

DCS for sure is good optimized. My PC is..... We not that badass either (Athlon X4 860K, 6gb ddr3, HD6570 2gb ddr3) and it runs great!

I wonder what's gonna happen when missiles like the Aim-132 are gonna make their way into DCS. As far as I understood, they are imaging IR missiles and can "see" the aircraft and target specific areas of the aircraft like a wing or the cockpit. This way, they can also "see" a flare is not the aircraft. Those missiles should have really high flare resistance and thus not go for every flare it sees like the mighty R-73 does now and than. AFAIK, the Maverick (both AGM-65H and AGM-65D) can also not be decoyed when used in air to air combat.

I have 6gb at the moment, one if my 4gb dimms failed, and now running 1*4gb + 1*2gb. It runs, but put preload radius and trees visibility etc on low. Do recommend to get more than 8gb though

Woa someone seems a bit mad. What's gonna a happen when the Typhoon is released, which is a full simulation and not just "a toy" and it goes up against a Mirage? Yelling at the Typhoon pilot won't stop him from firing before you can. I'm sorry, but on paper the Typhoon is superior. After all it's up to the pilot and his skills to prove he is actually superior. So just find a tactic that works, people have also done this with Mig-21's. Don't even mention the F-14. It'll take a dump on you before you even get a glance of it. So don't go head-on with an F14.

The issue is, when you get G-locked the pilot keeps forcing the stick fully into the corner. I don't know, but in real life when you lose consciousness I think you will let go of the stick.
