  1. Yes, we will hit that up after setting up the teams for JW4. Not sure if we already have enough pilots to fill all 4 teams, we should be close if not. I will check that out after publishing RF2 results.
  2. I will provide private planning rooms next time on SA forums.
  3. Hi Virtuoz, Great work with the new release! Would it be possible to keep displaying the source of the fired weapon as I noticed it's not shown anymore in the new version. Label shows only name of the missile and not who fired it. In large scale battles, it gets a bit messy when there are a bunch of missiles flying around and tricky to keep track of who fired what. Another small request you could put on the wishlist is to implement the ability to filter the Flight Log by type of event; for instance to show only 'Has been destoyed' type. Thanks for the great work. S!
  4. Riptide, you're the man! Good call mate :)
  5. Here you go: C9E57F2E9656FAC4DFF1A3C3AF5102EA
  6. It won't open in Tacview. Tried to open the file with at least the last 3 versions, it starts loading then stops around 30% before crashing. Yes I have saved the file locally and just re-installed Tacview. Weird.
  7. Thanks Riptide though I can't load it into Tacview, even the latest version (1.3.3), it gets stuck at about 30% and will not upload. Downloaded it twice, same outcome. Anyone else?
  8. Joint Warrior's purpose as the name indicates is to join forces with other pilots and squadrons. What you are suggesting is more appropriate for a SATAC event (squadron vs squadron). As for 104th and 51st teaming up together, why not? yes it will be tough to win against them but it's not impossible. An S77th-led coalition managed to pull that off in the last OPFOR. I'd prefer to go against the best and make the most out of loosing rather than winning without evolving. Giving an opportunity to DCS pilots to train in a serious PvP environment while having fun is what our events are all about.
  9. S! Warriors, RF2 kick off closing in fast! Anybody able to record some footage is very welcome to do so. We would like to make a highlights video of the battle. Recording voice comms would also be a nice contribution. Thanks and see you all tomorrow!
  10. Hey Max, each team is a coalition of pilots coming from two or more squadrons plus lonewolves. You can brings bring as many UVAF pilots as you can and we will try to fit you in.
  11. I seriously doubt the real Flanker departs that easily when the FCS is on. In fact, the fly-by-wire system is supposed to help with the stability at low speeds and high angle of attack. I keep reminding myself that it is still a beta flight model.
  12. Rankings have been updated and are taking into account results from the last TvT Red Flag battle (15-2), which can be found here: http://sa-sim.com/may-2015-official-results/ Halls of Fame, which are are tracking top spots on a monthly basis have not been updated and will be after next Red Flag (15-3) scheduled for May 30.
  13. Official results out, check them out here: http://sa-sim.com/red-flag-15-2-official-results/ Congrats to OPFOR for a solid overall performance and a well deserved win! SA points will be awarded accordingly to best pilot and squadrons tomorrow, then rankings will update automatically. Hall of fame, which keeps track of things on a monthly basis will not update until next RF is finished as it will happen also in May.
  14. Your missiles were inbound from under 10 miles, target went for evasive maneuvers then departed before crashing into the ground, seconds before your missiles would have hit it. Good firing parameters, only real threat, that kill will be yours sir. If there was another pilot in the same situation, you would have shared the kill with him (one assist each), Wizard was on his way but a bit late to collect an assist.
  15. Server logs indicate that the battle was a close one; OPFOR were clearly head and shoulders above in the air battle with reportedly 16 kills for 6 losses only. However, this did not stop the challengers from inflicting a lot of damage to enemy ground forces. The question is to see if that will be enough to offset the huge deficit conceded to OPFOR in the air battle. Of course, server logs are not enough to draw an accurate picture, so we will also go though the ACMI recording and over every action before coming up with the final and official results. Another great event to add to the history of the DCS PvP arena!
  16. Apologies for the delay, was sick and stayed away from my laptop for a few days. SA points converted here: http://sa-sim.com/april-2015-official-results/ OPFOR 15-1 article: http://sa-sim.com/savage-s77th-squadron-a-force-to-be-reckoned-with/ Congrats to the winners and everyone involved, brave pilots and organizing staff. See you all again soon for another DCS showdown!
  17. OPFOR 15-1 results are out! http://sa-sim.com/opfor-15-1-official-results/ SA points conversion and SA rankings update to follow shortly.
  18. Hey Rami, I'd be happy to point you in the right direction. Fly a combat mission, preferably online and send me out the track, will look into it and give you some tips that you may not be aware of. I am busy at the moment but will have some free time in a couple of days.
  19. This is based on RL red flag exercises. The idea behind this is to simulate a capable enemy to ensure effective pilot training. This is why aggressor pilots are usually veterans and instructors with a lot of flight hours and experience under their belt. The mission objectives are to be accomplished by the attacking side and aggressors are there to stand in their way.
  20. Guys, if you are an SA ranked pilot, please stick to the exact same callsign that is already there in order to avoid multiple instances of the same player. Thanks.
  21. Winrar 5 can do it, you need to download it: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
  22. Hey guys, I can not get my hands on the acmi, it actually downloaded but impossible to unzip or open. Any alternate link?
  23. Just listening to the comms was very thrilling, great bunch of guys out there. Thanks to the 104th for the server, Maverick for organizing and everyone who showed up tonight!
