  1. Is there a way to not move the mouse when head is turned? Meaning mouse stays where it has been left.
  2. Dont touch the radar. Neither turn it on standby nor on! Then it'll work.
  3. Lol, was checking updater and tested before writing my post. However, after I read your reply I started updater again and...I got an update which is now running. Hopefully you are right. Fingers crossed!
  4. Really? You fly Mig-21 in 2.0? What did you thats it's working? You must tell cause you're the only one able to fly it over Nevada.
  5. If this would be the only problem...
  6. You're right.
  7. BVR is not more than Beyond Visual Range. And it is able to fight in that range. Maybe the first comfirmed BVR kill might from the Gulf War (I don't know) because there were no war with use of BVR Air-to-Air missiles until than? I often read people writing that they are surprised that Mig-21 lacks a good radar and getting shot down. But the underlying assumption in that has errors: 1. Russian air fighting doctrine back than was to rely on ground guidance. Especially for intercepters who aren't supposed to dive deep into enemy territory. Russian interceptors back then were made to stay at the very front line of war and to intercept especially incoming bombers. According to that there were no need for a better radar in these jets which would have been bigger, heavier and more expensive. You have to keep in mind that a mig-21 costs roughly half of a F-4. 2. Even though Mig-21 is delta wing jet which are basically very maneuverable Mig-21 isn't that espcially maneuverable. It's, according to it's role to intercept primarily bombers, made to fly high and fast. And for this task delta wing is best practice. Mig-21 is not a dog fighter. 3. Even though you are behind an enemy in a shooting position. Rockets of Mig-21 are by far less reliable compared to F-15 or Su-27. 4. Don't fight in a Mig-21 against a F-15 and Su-27. You'll win only 1 in 100 times. Better try F86 or F-4.
  8. You aren't seriously comparing a jet developed in the early 50's with a 4 gen fighter, don't you? It's like trying to win a race in a bettle against a ferrari testarosa. Of course Mig-21 has barely a chance against these jets. However it can BVR.
  9. Ehm, what about the Mig-21?!
  10. Where may I get this?
  11. Really noone replying?
  12. Since last update of DCS Beta (1.5.1.) new information are shown on F2 view. However thrust data are incorrect. While flying with full afterburner F2 data shows 50% RPM. When flying with almost 100% RPM F2 shows 79% RPM.
  13. Kneeboard map of Mig21 isnt working in current DCS Beta version. Is there anything i can do? Maybe copying kneeboard files from Non-Beta to Beta folder? Thanks for your help!
  14. Since last update of DCS Beta (1.5.1. updated yesterday) rearming window showing black boxes.
  15. Trees look artificial Since last update (1.5.1, made yesterday) trees are looking somewhat artificialy set on the ground and showing up and disappearing with zoom level. I am unsure if this is supposed to be due to my settings or a bug? In addition loading times seems to be longer than before. Thanks for a short reply in advance.
  16. L39C
  17. Sorry, cant see how this site helps me to understand why OpenTrack is better than FaceTrackNoIR. FaceTrackNoIR works, as names suggests, without LED's.
  18. What makes it better?
  19. Txs mate. Here you go:
  20. If you may explain how to attach pictures I'll sent you screenshots of my settings.
  21. Please only talk for yourself. I agree only insofar as I understand that innovative things need time and surprises are around every corner. And of course this will lead to delays. However, even though there are delays and timetables has to be adjusted nontheless information and details can be given. I am not a friend of not meeting a deadline without saying anything. Why not saying we are working on this and that detail and it simply didnt work out we expected and need more time? Anyway, LN will do it good and Im another patiently waiting customer.
  22. We need a solution. There is no way to find out who did what. Just imagine, someone gets killed by the opposite team. All he has to do is switching the team, get into a 2-Seater, turn off engine, jettison weapons or whatever, then switching team back and rejoin. And noone will see in the heat of battle that he has been there and what he did. Or just think of upcoming F-14 by LN. You give Jester (the back seat RIO) a command in the middle of the battle and then someone joins that seat. Jester wont do anything and the new one dont know what to do, maybe he just mis-cklicked and wanted another jet and finally joins his desired jet. Jester didnt do anything, you maybe didnt fire a rocket and gets shot down. Not to forget that you wont even get informed that someone joined your jet. You simply dont know if you are alone or not. There has to be a solution for that.
  23. I gave it a try, deinstalled and installed again. And at first it worked in Singleplayer pretty well. But: As soon as I first started Multiplayer Joystick and Throttle arent working anymore. And I found out that when I start Singleplayer again Joystick and Throttle arent working there as well. It somehow feels, that Multiplayer mode in some way corrupts Singleplayer and until I reinstall drivers again Joystick and Throttle wont work with running TARGET profile. Need help!
  24. Configured profiles of my Thrustmaster Warthog works perfectly fine in singleplayer mode (despite unable to get trim keys to work for L39C). However, in multiplayer mode none of my key bindings are working. Not even joystick are throttle movement. As soon as configured profile within the TARGET Software is stopped joystick and throttle reacting as expected and key bindings assigned within DCS are working too. Tested this with L39C and Mig21 with excatly the same results.
