^^ And RISK, even though processes transistor counts double every 2 years, you'll find most platforms are using old technologies (powerpc's or the motorola 680x0 family). You've got more processing power in you PC than an F-22 would have ;) It takes years to get processor qualified for airborne applications. I once attended a presentation on how adverse the US is to risk and probably why the F-22 was chosen of the YF-23, they quoted the US only moves ahead on each design by about a 10-20% leap in technology (can't remember the exact figure) due to the risk.

If I fly with ALT HOLD on (just the light) and don't use the collective brake it should impact me right? Reason being after leaving autohover the light remains on.

It also switched off on an online mission today, was hovering rather hi and descending and must have entered the vortex, bloody thing was blinking away and the chopper started spinning. Survived that only to re-lock the SA19 I was targeting and watch it launch at me, came straight in through the canopy, CAPPOOOOF.

Thanks Ivank, how about adding the alt limit for auto hover? I've set it at 4m and the 3 alt, pitch and roll lights all blink and turn off followed by an embarrassing pitch up and also turn to target doesn't turn directly onto the tgt, it's always off by x degrees.

Try 608040s that's what's in something like a tiger or NH90s. More than one though.
