dcs.logHello all, I have a similar issue with hosting a multiplayer session as many others. I have port 10308 open in my router, set exceptions for this port in windows defender (firewall), my friend locate me with right IP adress, I see my server in my profile on website, but if I entered to details, I see a wrong IP adress, wrong name, etc. In log I see that IPV6 and IPV4 are set corretly, it says that port seems to be open... I dont have any clue what else could be wrong. I red a lot of topics about this in here, in reddit, etc. I tried everything I found but no luck. I am runing on las beta 2.5.6.5625. Could anyone help me with this?

Video with Hind over Latakia is really nice, but it is not kind of look what we have done video, like in F-xx aircraft was in this state of development. It is some kind of by the way info. And yes, probably I did not noticed Hind in haloween sale video. My mistake. Maybe I am not express quite right, I am sorry, but I think you just trying to skew my point. I feel in your post disregard a mockery. And that is excatly the problem. Comunication with comunity. All over again. We are asking questions for years and months a we geting only a lack of information. And you, as a probably member of a Hind test team, are just laught to our faces. That is not a kind of attitude I expect to customers. But that is your deal, I dont care. We are not asking for release date. We are asking for informations about development, not only a few senteces once or twice a year. I think it is not too much. If I take informations about development F-18 or F-16 and compare with informations we have about Hind at the same stadium of development...I think you can recognize that is not comparable. That is my point. My dad flying Hind for more than 40 years, now as a test pilot in repair company. I was about too but it never happened, but I am a pilot myself. We offered our knowledge to a development and testing, but we were not called. That is ok, I understand ED have a good team for it. Preciesely... big ass hype for apache - while Hind is strongly neglected in every way. Do you remember any this kind of hype video about Hind? I am not. Everything is more important than Hind, even answers we ask for a months, for a years. Like it is black sheep even before born. I wish it´s not, but I am starting to think politics has the role in it.

Acording to a new changelog it seems like Huey multicrew finally comes. Maybe it is very good news for a Hind either :). Introduced multi-crew for DCS UH-1H Huey. Added the ability to play with multi-crew for the UH-1H. Up to four crewstation are available for cooperative play: pilot, co-pilot, left gunner and right gunner (if they are added in missions). Added multi-crew missions for the UH-1H helicopter. Known Issues during playing with multi-crew: Possible desynchronization of the state (visualization) of the helicopter in case of damage and when requesting ground power before engine start. When leaving the crewstation of the left (right) gunner into the spectators and back, the gunner's body-model may disappear. There may be problems in the cockpit with controls that have axis settings commands (knobs for adjusting the volume, setting the altitude, etc.), if the controls is intended for another crewstation. There is no visualization of the cargo mark on the cargo indicator (cargo position display).

Hi, In my opinion, the old pain with ED is coming up to light again. And that is a way of comunication to fan base. It´s better and better, that´s is a fact, but... At the begining of the year they post some kind of big word promises and then changing their states in silence during the year. We dont forget to our rotorwings fans or something like that. Result? We have updated cockpit of Ka-50, no matter how I like it (I fly with 50) I have to say is far from promises. Video from summer with Hind over Syria made me believe that we can have Hind till Christmas. Since that video we dont get any other information than We working on it and It will not be this year. No development report for a couple of months. Instead we have modules which was not in last new year post, statuses about XXth rocket for F-xx airplanes, etc. For a couple of last years I say, Oh my god, comunicate with comunity. It´s not about releasing date for Hind. It is about behavior to customers. Till fall we have every friday nice report what ED is working on, this format is kind of broken to a few facebook statuses, totally confusing. I have feell that if you point on anything you dont like, ED not answer it or stop talking at all. Why we have to finding informations somewhere deep in forums? Why ED dont step forward and dont say Ok, we are sorry, we know that we said this and this, but we are not gonna make it because.... As a customer I will happy for a more personal way of comunication to comunity. Somewhere in this section of forums I saw a nice post: ED working on the Hind only if they have nothing other to do. Hello to all Hind entusiast:), last video with Hind over new Syria map brings to me a few questions about this module. I don´t know where I can get a proper answers, so I try luck here. I believe it will be interesting to each other players: 1. In the video, I notice a nice low speed behavior of speedmeter - vibration between 0 and 370 during hovering and low speed. This behavior is exactly the same as in real helicopter (Mi-24 and Mi-8 as well). What this kind interesting effect for example is planned (strong stringing during startup for example, moving DUAS system, etc)? Will be theese effects added like a update to Mi-8 for example? Many systems are same or simillar, so thats the reason of my question. 2. Will be GPS module added to a Hind or we will have to settled with cartograph? 3. I noticed a little bug (?) in coalitions in mission editor - I can´t have a Mi-8 under Czech Republic coalition, which is a little inaccurately. Do you plan Mi-24 (and Mi-8) to a proper coalitions (I know that Czech Republic have not a P variant, but still...)? What painting will we get? (It is too soon for this question?) Hello, Could someone give me some advice? I would like to add an object - like comand post and give him NDB station. In airplane (Mi-8, L-39) I should be able to make ARK point to it. I tried two different ways according to this topic: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178702 Trigger method is not functional at all. Method with waypoint actions is a little weird. In Mi-8 or L-39 I see signal on ARK, but compass gauge do not pointing to it. I want my own NDB only for singleplayer, but I cannot find if theese two methods is functional at all. News 22.11.2019 In today DCS update letter is a small info about Mi-24: The Mi-24 cockpits are progressing well and we should be able to show you the first renders in the very near future. Jiri

Same as always According to las ED post on facebook about new A-10 cockpit I get a little sad... A-10 cockpit will be sooner than Ka-50 cockpit, every western aircraft will be sooner than eastern aircraft and everything will be sooner than Mi-24. I put my whole strength to not believe that is a purpose;)

Same feeling here. But we should not forget about a fact, that we´ve seen exterior model Mi-24P in one of F-18 videos before it´s release. But yes - if they are this "far", it could be long way. I still hoping for miracle. Maybe it´s time to finally bring this home, what do you think?

DCS World Helicopters Update Hey guys, it´s been a while... A very very small mention about Mi-24 in ED newsletter on facebook: DCS World Helicopters Update Our current helicopter focus is on the updated Ka-50 for DCS: World Black Shark and DCS: Mi-24P Hind. Both projects are progressing well. The Ka-50 update will consist of new functions such as Igla air-to-air missiles and missile warning systems with infrared missile jamming systems in addition to a substantial graphics overhaul. While new cockpit functions will be part of a paid upgrade, the entirely new and improved cockpit and external model will be available for free. In addition to a graphics overall and new features, we will also take this opportunity to clean up any remaining bugs in the Ka-50. It is not much, but something at least... Hi all, originaly I didn´t want to write anything, but I cannot hold myself. BaD CrC´s message literally litfs me up from chair. If would be me, I´d try to make the biggest noise around it I could. It is not about moving message or renaming it. It´s about HOW it was rename and what subtext we can read under it. The way how it was rename is typical example of arogancy, lack of interest and mockery to our faces. I smell in renaming your message try to make a fool from you, stupid fool. It is real reflection the fact how ED responding to any Mi-24 questions for last two years. Nothing nicer, same answers for two damn years!!! Because it is the same thing like you asking me (in good faith) ,,How far are you with your work?" and I would act like I dont hear you and after all tell you that you never ask me to this. Then I would lying and lying and after that I´d just think Yeah yeah you just saying some Hind crap, who cares.... I know it is just one moderator and I am frustrated, but it is very strange acting by people who getting money from us. Because this is exactly how I feel last couple of months: I gave you a money and you just spin on my face everytime I dare ask to something. DCS is only and the best helicopter simulator. This is the fact. It is not odd or dumb asking when we get another, though ED acts like that. Last year I have a feeling that ED wants make some kind of embarassing World of airplanes 2. I am sick off the fact that ED is not able to step up forward to fans and finally speak honestly. Every new thing is about Hornet. Since last year they are probably more modern as a company, they have more employees and everything they did is - surprice surprice - nothing pointing to fans. Nothing. I wrote that before, but we heard about Hornet for last one or two years. We know about every new little wire on it but that´s all. And for upcoming year or two, we will get the same with F-16. Great prospects.. I am really sorry for BST become part of ED. We have nothing from that and we will not for the long time yet. Can you imagine Activision, Warhorse, Ubisoft, EA, Bioware,..., acting like this? Never respond to their fans questions about news? I can´t... Sorry for long agry text... Jiri

Yes I understand that. You´re probably right, but that is the problem. Noone had ask for release date. We just want to know what is status of development. Noone ever put some solid answer for our questions for more than 2 or 3 years. That is not normal niether to facts you wrote. But yes. In every comunity are much more squallers than reasonable people. But that is not our fault. How the other game developers deal with it? Maybe it is just my point of view but I did not noticed that ED make any steps forward to comunity. Being insulted for such a long time or on the contrary being frightened, all for "we´ve got burn" is not a solution. And thats were my thing came of - that noone from ED does not care much about theese kind of steps to comunity. About Hornet was informations at least every month a year before release...odd :smilewink: EDIT: Norm was posted a message on DCS facebook page under winter sale video. Bo-105 and Hind are in active development. But this is what we heard for two years.
