  1. If everyone read Tha manuals there would be 50 percent less topics. But then again there wouldn't be anything for me to do whilst I sit at work. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  2. During the BF ops when there was actual competition this was adhered but on open multiplayer servers it usually is not followed at all unfortunately, however some people call out their status usually no one tends to listen often.
  3. yes for the frog T it will only steer you in the direction of your sensor point either with the tv's elint or ccrp modes in the horizontal only. The 27/ 33 will maneuver the aircraft in all planes as well as manage throttle and board. Testing it i find if the target is locked you are on his front 3-9 line then it will maneuver you to his 3 or 9 aspect. If you are behind his 3-9 line it will maneuver you to his rear aspect for a shot. In EO using your IRST sensor it will not calculate aspect angle and will simple steer you directly to the target and not set you up on any missile intercept course, basically you are the missile in this case lol.
  4. Combat Steering Mode is when you activate your autopilot ( A in the 25/27/33 if i remember correctly) and the autopilot will set you up on the best intercept course to your target in BVR mode. Note that should you lose contact on scope the autopilot will revert to emergency level flight mode which will hold alt att roll and yaw. The same function is in the 25. When you activate either your LLTV ELINT or TV the autopilot will bring you to level flight hold in the direction of your sensor point. If you move your crosshairs the AP will adjust course with it. I find it really usefull for CCRP as it will hold you on a nice steady level straight course to release.
  5. What we can do I'd offer our support to hegykc while he sorts this amazing product out. Let us not forget he is doing this as a hobby and is doing this in his spare time. Personally let him take his time to perfect this and not rush him. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  6. Guess you're going to have to build another pit by the sounds of it CRC. Lol Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  7. Let's just leave it as un confirmed confirmed and wait and see what happens. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Yes it was a mistake on Steams part and yes now we know that these modules are in development. Don't get your hopes up. In the wise words of ED, everything is subject to change. 8. Also depending on how many we would actually want. You have to take into account that most planes will actually be shared between two or even three pilots. So you would have to account for the fact that the use of each plane depending on avaliable slots would be used twice or thrice as much as a plane say in the RAF or USN. Kudos to Boeing for making a plane that can be beat on and used as much as a cheap hooker but still put out like an amateur lol Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk

  10. Oh god I'm at work and you have to mention poutine. I suddenly have a bad case of the flu and Smokes Poutinery is just around the corner on my way home *cough* *cough* Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  11. We all have to remember in the end that it's not us simmers and Canadians but the men and women in uniform proudly serving our nation that will be taking the next generation of fighter aircraft into our airspace to defend our rights and freedoms. Regardless of what aircraft will be chosen I just hope that the DoD looks and studies each one carefully. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  12. Actually doing social assistance work a with CF personelle returning from combat deployments overseas and finding a common ground to talk on while we helped them reintegrate to civy life. Reason for why u cannot reveal names and specificities due to confidentiality agreements. But I can tell you that for sure they like the sound of the hornet better than a flying computer. 13. It would be nice to have the plane built and designed in Canada. Just restore national pride and flex our own technological muscles. I understand the desire for the F35 and its new tech but asking pilots they would rather the SH or ASH over the F35 simply because it's more reliable at this stage and it's more survivable in a combat zone. In reference to the part where someone said that the sh and cf188 share no compatability that is false 65 percent of the tools equipment and parts are interchangeable the only late things are the air frames and larger section of the skin. Transitions with be seamless and more cost effective than going with the 35 because the H and SH share a very very similar cockpit layout illbeit more digitalised. 14. I was not made aware of the testing. Again simulated testing and feild testing are not the same. My question was if any actual feild testing in Canada has been done. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  15. And on top of that what if it doesn't perform as required in our conditions? Has the F35 been tested IN Canada? Maybe it will be like iPhones and not boot up if it's too cold outside. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  16. It just seems silly to procure a plane that won't meet Canada's defence requirements. Yes DAS and STEALTH are nice features but do we really need to go that far just to say we have the bigger stick? Why not the most reliable and useful stick instead? Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  17. I want to go to Las Vegas P.S. Subscribed to your youtube channel.

  20. As far as I can remember they were bought A versions designed for the Navy but sub siquently upgraded to Canadian standards for cold weather ops. It's nice to see the discussion with hard facts but we'll have to observe the competition as it is see through and clear so WE know what's going on behind the curtains. 21. That was the Harper government.....RIGHT IN BOLD..... this is a new government under new administration that has promised an open and fair competition that has not outlined any specific terms as to what aircraft can or cannot participate, they are considering funding to companies to develop a new or a Canadianized version of existing air frames. Regardless of the fact there is no information that you are providing that says that the Arrow project does not exist or will never be. True it may never happen but saying that its a waste of everyone's time and that it would be "outdated is completely over the top false. In an interview with I believe it was the lead aeronautics department leader for Boeing/ McDonnell Douglas, he said that even the old Arrow airframe was and still is a sound and extremely competitive design even nowadays taht is on par or even out performs some fourth generation aircraft. Thats why the whole project was shadowed in contraversy and mystery as the Arrow was revolutionary and 30 YEARS ahead of it's design period as far as range, maneuverability and capability goes. Not to mention it fits the bill when it comes top what exactly Canada would need for a military fighter. Thing can fly from Vancouver all the way to montreal before it would need to be refueled a 15min stop over cold lake and it could be passing over St Johns nfl 3 hours later.
  22. Actually a privately traded company that was interviewed by CBC after Trudeau announced that the F-35 would be scraped and a competition announced. Sorry dude back track your facts, the hoak was put up by Beaverworks. Bourdeaux Industries bought and currently has all of the surviving plans/ schematics from the original Avro Arrow and are hoping that their bid to compete in the competition will be accepted. I actually personally showed Trudeau their work and he immediately sent for his assistant to contact the company.

  24. Hey if the US decides to shrink the Warthog fleet I'm all for aquiring some airframes. They would need to replace the nose art with beavers or moose and rename the aircraft accordingly haha. Rather than switch to the super hornet however, I think at this point going for the advanced super hornet would be a better option as it is the most recent and up-to-date hornet model and avionics package rather than 5 or 10 years down the road have to upgrade the super hornets.
  25. Sorry yes it is possible it requires funding. And bourdeax industries took over Avro Canada and they have everything ready to go to actually build a full working model. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
