the only time these were used operationally were near the end of the war in the ETO, and only on twin engine props like 217 ju-88 and hs-219 i believe. Tested on late model variant of 262 with radar in nose but was found to be lacking in accuracy on anything less than a large, slow moving ship.

So I don't need to transfer them manually or buy them again new?

So apparently my post here was irrelevent to the DCS world discussion but my question was if I download the open beta 1.5 and still have the public release version 1.2.16, do my modules get avaliable automatically in the open beta or would I have to transfer them again. Just wondering as I assume most people will transfer to open beta and not wait for public release. I would rather not transfer my modules over and then back when 1.5 comes to public release.

With 1.5 coming shortly will the 104th be updating to the open beta or will you be remaining with the recent 1.2.16 until public release of 1.5?

Open Beta and DCS 1.5/ 2.0 When DCSW 1.5 comes out on open beta and I have my regular DCSW installed, do I need to buy all my bought modules again to work in the open beta or do they automatically transfer over by recognizing it from the public release version on my PC? I've never installed open beta so I'm unaware of what exactly the procedure is. Thanks or the help. - Elmo

Q: How has the dual pilot configuration been coming along as far as integration into the sim? If all is going smoothly great but if not what problems have been encountered? I.e lost of frames, one pilots head movements dictate where the others will go? Q: Are the radios for an L-39C/ZA traditional in the sense you have to adjust a knob on a dial ( analogue or digital) or are they a preset frequency in relation to a channel number. Will this be the case for both aircraft?

Speaking of which.......will there be more slots allotted to each side in all missions for aircraft like the sabre mig15 and 21? I'm flying older aircraft more often now and want a challenge and rather than flying with hogs on blue for in a mig id rather be bright red shooting the hogs down in my mig lol. Just saying it would be nice to have that option every time i log in.

No 15 as in mig 15 should have specified earlier lol. Could it be country = { instead of countries = { i'll try that when i get home as well. Basically the skinis originally for a usaf mig-15 but i like the skin adnd want to use it on the russian side with red stars instead of the us af logo.

So i have some really good skins for the 15 but they are only available for the us side. tried adjusting the lua. but cant seem to get it to change over and show up in the mission editor at the very bottom of the description lua. it normally reads } name = "USAF" countries = {"USA",} i tried changing that to } name = "USAF" countries = {"RUS",} and } name = "USAF" countries = {"Russia",} and again both times removing the comma after the country name in brackets however it still does not show up in the skins section of the missian editor under country russia. Any idea what i may or may not be doing wrong?

Yes, the Shkval doesn't like to lock unless it has good parameters and reflection on target which is why you won't always get a solid lock untill you get within 15km range.

Guess we'll have to wait and see when they release the 47 to us.

So from what I see here, we're mainly looking at the want for a heavy attacker like a 410 or mossie, or a light bomber b25, A26 and He-111. My choice would be for a light bomber type. JU-88 and Mosquito are my two tops, but I would accept anything that gets tossed out at this point.

FYI to the host of the server, please update to latest 1.2.16 build as it is impossible to get access to your server. Not just an issue for myself, we had about 20 people try to get in and all failed all weren't using any mods and all were with the current public release version.

Server doesnt show on list and I am using current public release version. Down for maintenance?
