  1. Looks like you don't have to invest in G-Sync monitor any more - just find FreeSync one which works with the latest nVidia drivers.
  2. Just tried it - it works on my Samsung C34F791, which is Freesync compatible, and RTX 2070. I had to switch G-Sync on in nvdia settings and pick full screen and windowed mode (full screen option did not work in full screen DCS). I also had to pick FreeSync Standard Engine in monitor settings, Ultimate one gave me flickering. Would be good for others to confirm if their FreeSync monitors work even if they are not nvidia approved!

Up to you, but with axis you will get flicker mentioned earlier. It's worth trying both to see what suits you best. But if you have set rotary as axis in Logitech software, you should be able to assign it in Axis section of controls set up. In Logitech software you should not see any movement or anything like it, it will just get highlighted when you rotate the ring.
  4. I see everyone hates the news :smilewink: Thank you sooo much guys, awesomeness of Viggen is growing!
  5. I hope for F-15E next year, at least Early Access!
  6. very nice model of an ugly machine! :smilewink:
  7. "migs look ugly as hell except 29" Agreed! "Viggen. This was almost the last of the DCS modules i bought. I just couldn't get over the looks..." Disagree strongly - it's beautiful! But who cares, it's just my opinion :music_whistling:
  8. Thanks for this, I managed to get Warthog and pedals on sale!

    Rotary switches

how are you trying to program them, as an axis or as bands with keystrokes assigned to each end?

Try it out, but I found flickering too annoying.

I tried to use rotaries for zoom in x52 pro but didn't like it (prefer to use 5 step zoom with a slider), but it should work if you set three bands in joystick software. Assign keystrokes (* and /) to upper and lower bands and leave central one unassigned. This way if rotary is in central band position, no input is sent, and you only get zoom action/keystrokes when it's in one of other two bands. It also helps if you make the central band bigger then the other two. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  13. "Hornet and Persian Gulf Map Discounts Reinstated!" https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/2018-10-05_Bundle/
  14. You could have bought Persian Gulf last week, there was a sale where they offered a discount for one if you already had the other (map or F-18 ). I have had the map so got $20 off the plane.
  15. ...and besides all previous suggestions, and if you interested in WWI aviation at all, in Rise of Flight they recently introduced mouse control option. No idea if/how it works though.
  16. Brilliant news. Always loved F-14 but Top Gun? Not that much :music_whistling: But it is the greatest script ever written, according to QT :D
