  1. Maybe I didn't explain well... Look at the screenshot here below. The pipper points at the sky while I'm diving and already close to the ground. The red arrow shows where my shots land. Simply, the pipper does not give any idea of a ballistic calculation. In this example all of your suggestions are taken into account. The very same happens with rockets in TAS.
  2. Is this valid also for AG cannon? I made a mission with GBUs, and then I wanted to strafe with the AG cannon, but the pipper never goes to position, i.e. the slant range calculation from the radar seems not to be considered
  3. This bug is resolved in DCS 1.5.4 Update 6 Thanks ED!
  4. Very good tool, but it doesn't solve the problem
  5. That was one of my first checks. After several months with this issue, trying out all kind of settings, I'm sure it's not a small problem like axes assignment.
  6. Does anyone at least have a workaround? If it's really caused by the hot plug/unplug, do we have a way to disable it?
  7. Once again: this problem is not given by the joysticks and their drivers, but by DCS, and specifically only since 1.5.4 and 2.0.2 are out.
  8. I have exactly the same problem. I use a FLY5 and I was able to replicate the problem also with a logitech stick. I've been posting in the forum for more than 1 month and still it seems there is no solution. It seems also that this problem does not appear for many people, so no big interest is raised in ED. Fact is, for me all current versions of DCS are unplayable, as for you I guess
  9. Afaik, if the Awacs says "... at bulls ..." the position is given relative to the bullseye, otherwise it's relative to the unit
  10. Hi folks, I can't find any entry in the controls settings for this switch... Am I missing it or is it actually not there?
  11. I've also noticed there are inconsistencies between the briefing and the map/lineup card: the first states a push time for the player's flight of 1655, the latter state 1650
  12. In Mission 7 we are supposed to escort the Dodge flights, but: - the Springfield flights take off first and they push to SEAD way too early - the other Ford flight, which is supposed to sweep ahead of the strikers (as stated in the briefing) is always far behind the Springfields - most of the Springfields get shot down by Red CAP, so some of the SAM sites get not destroyed - my flight and the other Ford get then into battle and shoot down every Red aircraft - Dodge flights get massacred by the surviving SAMs --> Mission failure So... am I supposed to escort the Springfields instead of the Dodge??
  13. Trial number 7: mission success. It seems that both airplanes of both Dodge flights have to drop their bombs to trigger the message "Dodge X, bombs away, off to the north", even though the command center and the EWR are *already* destroyed. After this message is given, the check of the status of the targets is done. In my case, the "mission success" message was given just after the bombs away one from Dodge 2.
  14. Next trial, same results. I attached the log file. Again, I saw the two targets being destroyed. However I noticed that Dodge 1 confirms the kill with a message like "Center GCI down", while Dodge 2 doesn't confirm its kill. Maybe the script waits for this confirmation and the mission success depends on it: if this is the case, it needs a correction. P.S.: in this trial (only in this one!), Dodge 22 crashed somewhere out in Caliente Bravo, 100 miles away from the engegement zone (see attached image)... please don't tell me that this mission works correctly. F15C_RedFlag_mis03.txt
  15. And, of course, I don't fly into restricted airspace
  16. Ok, tried again. I paused several times to see what Dodge 1 and 2 do. They bomb their targets, which are then listed as "dead" in the summary, but I still get no success message. It seems I can't attach the track file because it's too large
  17. Did this mission several times, never got the "success" message, althought: -I downed all the reds -The Strike Eagles hit their targets -The F-16s fired undisturbed their Harms, but didn't destroy their targets. They kept flying around them and strafing until they crashed out of fuel
  18. I have the same problem, and I do follow the waypoints
  19. +1 I was just thinking of posting the same request!
  20. Thanks Corvus! The video has unfortunately the top lines cut... For a laser-bombing-newbie like me it would be nice to see all the chatter options between you and the JTAC :book: P.S: do you really need the CCRP to release the bomb or you just pickle somewhere in the area of the target?
  21. Mad Dog Simulations Usa East server! Not always much populated but definitely with great missions for Combined Arms (and Huey/Mi-8 pilots, hehe)
  22. Quad cores are on the market since many years, and I strongly expected that EDGE would use them properly. This is quite disappointing
