Thanx a lot Wags! I was hoping for this the day I heard about FC 2.0. This way I can still fly with all my delicious mods and over Nevada and still be able to fly the 2.0 patch! Thanx again! I also noticed FC 2.0 was a bit heavier on my system. It´s playable, but it depends on situation, number of aircrafts etc. I am down to 20 fps when I am slewing the Mavericks around over heavy cities. Tried lowering some option and as long as I am over 20 I am fine. Hom ever I think there will be a lot of mods towards FC 2.0 that can gain some fps. Like canopy without scratches, fpsfriendly water etc.

Just tried some A-10A flying and man what a change! I noticed a little fps drop compared to v.1.12. That must be the better FM and better objects and textures. Like the Apache´s is 1000X better! I get down to the 20 fps while using MFD and mavericks. I turned some settings down, but anyone know any quick tips to save fps? I have monitor on 256, low visibility, planar shadows, high on textures, medium on scenes, normal water. I haven´t tried the SU-25T yet but I believe that frog is more fps hungry! It runs almost the same as Black Shark, so I am hoping to see some fps friendly mods in the future! Awesome work again ED!

Great, so why is it not working for me? Strange thing the digital world is. Uninstall of old FC I don´t yet want. Patient I must be. Use the force I must. :book: Good to hear this patch works flawless for the rest of you. I am sure there is a solution before I uninstall. I will try downloading the files again but this time over http. No one else got the error message I got? And why does the setup look for Lock On 1.1 and not a FC patch? Strange thing.

Did you apply the patch over your previous FC 1.12 install? With or without mods? I am curious if someone else installed the patch over FC 1.12 with/without any mods? EDIT: I hate when this happens, but I will wait and see if there is a tip or if the only way is to uninstall and then install vanilla Lock On again.

I downloaded the files for the second time and still get "Lock On 1.1 not found, installation interrupted". Strange. What to do? Complete reinstall of my install is the only way?

Ok. I deleted my previous downloaded files and I am downloading the same files again via the torrent. I am currently seeding at 3 Mbps. I have backup of all the mods. If I get the same error message after my second download I will uninstall. I think it will be lots of mods for FC 2.0 in the future so no need to go back! I just hate to lose my Nevada terrain mod... I still await some more info on what to do and why that error message appear even if I have FC 1.12 installed. Strange...never heard anyone else got the same message? Does it have something to do that I run 1.12B on XP? ( I read somewhere that "B" was for Vista but you could run it on XP too).

My live in paid for the patch! How cool it that! :D (I am turning 31 on 7th of April so she called it an early birthday present! lol) Homever, I have trouble getting the install to work! I get "Lock On 1.1 not present" or something like that. I have Flaming Cliffs v.1.12B (On XP) and I have tons of mods. I heard I didn´t had to uninstall anything as it goes into separate folders, but somehow, the setup file can´t find my install for whatever reason. I also tried to move the setup files in the root of my FC directory but no joy unfornuately. I don´t want to uinstall everything (I am so close to doing it right now) as I have Lock On FC 1.12 with lots of mods like Ricardos HD mod, Nevada map, Reload mod etc and I want to installs. Hope someone has a solution to this or is the only way uninstalling? Do I need to install the first CD like vanilla Lock On or do I need to install FC to? And what patches before installing FC 2? Confusing, yes it is! :doh:

Do I need to uninstall my version of FC 1.12A which is HEAVILY modded in order to install 2.0? Is it possible to install two versions? Like 1.12A modded (with the lovely Nevadamap) and then 2.0 vanilla? I hate to uninstall all those good looking mods like Richardos HD pits etc. I was hoping for the possibility to have two separate installs. Possible?

I have a version of 1.12A heavily modded. I love all the mods, so my question is, is it possible to have two versions installed at the same time? Like 1.12A and 2.0? If so, how? I hate to uninstall Lock On completely with all the good mods and then install a clean versions ready for 2.0. I know this can be done for IL-2 1946. I have one unmodden version 4.09m and one modded (UI 1.2). Works like a charm!

Nice screens! BTW: When the 2.0 patch will be released, do we need to do a complete reinstall of Lock On to Flaming Cliffs v.1.12A? I ask because I have tons of mods and wonders if the patch will mess up the mods or if it demands a clean install? Also, what files do I need to backup to keep my joystick/keyboard settings in case of a reinstall? Thanks in advance! :)

I was frapsing some footage for a new movie, when I suddenly encountered a bug I have never seen before after flying Lock On FC for 3 years now..in the middle of the track, my plane suddenly goes into a circles!? I know I did not fly that way in the original track, and I saw the plane crashed into the ground, while I in fact landed back at homebase after a succesful mission. Why does the track gets "destroyed" like that? Have anyone else seen this? It was really annoying as it was a very good track with lots of good kills and myself not even taking any damage and a good landing too! What makes the track like this? It looks to me as the track could not play back what I did and instead let go of the controls resulting in a circle of death! Strange thing....

Great news ED! Thanx a lot! :):thumbup: I bought a second copy of Lock On "Gold Edition" which is still wrapped in plastic just for backup! I see the backup is becoming more and more important after this patch will be out! I hope ED would "resell" the gold edition as I had a hard time buying a second "backup"-copy. This will open up more users to Lock On and maybe BS. I also have a question: I have BS, but I have bad fps (average 23-25) and for me, that´s unplayable...I have a dual core AMD 64 2.7GHZ but that´s too weak for BS. How demanding will Lock On 2.0 be? I run Lock On with fps around 50. That´s without heatglow, medium water, low visibility. Lock On still is powerhungry! Will Lock On 2.0 demands as much as BS or something in between?

Wow, that´s nice to hear! :) Glad you liked it! Can´t say myself it´s perfect as I see afterwards a lot I could change, but the movie was made with feeling and respect to a great flyer and the music really helps. Finding the right soundtrack is almost the biggest challenge sometimes!

Awesome! Just pure perfection! Is this on YouTube in HD too? Others need to watch this! I downloaded the movie in 1080p and never have I seen Lock On FC looking that good! Just awesome! Can´t wait for more of this! How often do you guys train for this and how long does it take before one can accomplish these skills? Are some of you real pilots? Takes some time to accomplish such skills! Respect for that! :) 10/10.
